Dan Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 i just hope claudio and the boys don't take this as easy as us fans think this is going to be. Newcastle is the kind of team that wins when you least expect them too. They've already sprung a few surprises and i can see them causing us all sorts of problems. They might be more rubbish at home due to the toxic atmosphere there, when they play us they will be fighting for everything and no one really expects them to win - so no doubt it will be a tough game They won't - hence why I'm confident.
Dan Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 But how long has the home crowd been this angry? As long as I can remember. They're permanently fuming. Their away record is disgraceful. McClaren hasn't got a clue how to set a team up on the road. 2 wins, 1 draw and 17 defeats from their last 20 away games.
jammie82uk Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 I'd play Ulloa, their inability to cope with anything in the air when we won 3-0 at home last year was astonishing. I remember Coloccini letting a long ball bounce so early on, from which we won a corner and scored, and that really set the tone. If we get off to a flyer here we really could win at a canter, but an early goal is key. I agree it seems they can't cope with balls in the air or speedy strikers, as even Josh King has just given them the run around so why not hit them with both options
Grewks Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 Ranieri is a god. He even got us playing a 433/4141 on saturday......we can never get the balance of 433 but it controlled the game against watford.
Captain... Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 The only worry is that it is a TV game, Newcastle love a TV game, add a new manager bounce and this could be a lot harder than we think. Even with Shteeeve in charge, he will have something to prove and it could be one of those games where he drops the under performing big names, gets a load of fringe players in and they go out and play without fear. Any sort of win here and I will be ecstatic
foxaholic Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 If we score first and early, then it could be a big score, but you never know with football. They still have some talented players who could hurt us. Defensively though, they are horrendous, so I can see us scoring at least a couple, and hopefully keep it tight at the back. Everyone will expect us to take these apart, and that brings a different kind of pressure, especially if we struggle to score early on or they nick a goal first... Heart says 5-0 (McClaren Sacked after). Head says 3-0 Are they any worse than Villa who we beat by the odd goal at home and drew away you never know
Foxxed Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 We can't afford to underestimate anyone at this stage. We've been a little below par for us these last few matches, understandably since the style of match has changed. Need to use this match to get back to track, settle down further. Would love to see Vardy back on the scoresheet, too.

Sionnach gorm Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 Important game. Never underestimate a team so close to the bottom. They may be looking for just a tie, while we need a win. I would still expect a win.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 I agree they should be shown the utmost respect before we fvck them over good and proper. The Wally is stealing a living and that team are gutless and a disgrace to their fans!

The results have been there, but the last twenty minutes against Watford: I was shitting it. End of first half looked a bit dodgy too.
AjcW Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 Craig Pawson appointed as Referee for this one. His game with us so far this season: Leicester 2-5 Arsenal Leicester 1-1 Man Utd Leicester 0-0 Man City

You need to calm down a bit! we were in total control on another day it could of been 3 or 4 nil. Huth missed two straight forward headers and Vardy missed a couple of good chances.
goose2010 Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 I can see us starting with the team that started the second half on Saturday night. Same back 4 + Kasper Schlupp Drinkwater Kante Mehrez King Vardy
LCCFox96 Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 Schmeichel Simpson Huth Morgan Fuchs Mahrez Drinkwater Kante Schlupp Ulloa Vardy
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 This game is NOT a given. New manage or not - despite their awful form and general negativity around the club - every team in this league - including NUFC - is dangerous and capable of beating anyone.Indeed I agreeI think we have to be respectful of all other teams in fairness That said, Leicester win please
dylanlegend Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 To be fair I think Newcastle on their day are easily the worst team in the division as long as SM is in charge we should win at least 3-0

justfoxes Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 I don't care if it's another cheeky 1 niller so long as we win and get the 3 points hoping the villa actually step up to the mark and hold the spuds to a 0-0 !! Come on you Leicester!!
