johnny the fox Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 we are truly blessed... what a time to be alive..
Heymister2015 Posted 27 March 2016 Posted 27 March 2016 Need to bring him on the right! Not seen him do that on the left
FireFox Posted 27 March 2016 Posted 27 March 2016 Need to bring him on the right! Not seen him do that on the left Albrighton and Mahrez, one of whom he'd be coming on for - one of whom would still be on the pitch, are better than him on the right. Also, unless because of injury or tiredness, bringing him on is to change tactics, keeping Albrighton on the left with Gray just replacing Mahrez on the right doesn't change much.
ajthefox Posted 27 March 2016 Posted 27 March 2016 Could bring Okazaki off, give Mahrez free reign behind Vardy and then put Gray on the right. Might prove pretty fruitful imo.
Rincewind Posted 27 March 2016 Posted 27 March 2016 Could train him to play both sides. He is still young enough to adapt.
Clever Fox Posted 27 March 2016 Posted 27 March 2016 Gray has a lot of potential but is still learning. He's lucky in that he has Both Mahrez and Albrighton to learn from, even Schlupp. If he can learn from all 3 of them he will be a quality player. Although it may take him another season to start making a realistic challenge for a starting place in the Team. If we can keep hold of ur other young players then we'll have a cracking team going forward.
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 28 March 2016 Posted 28 March 2016 Lets not get carried away. He's played well for the u21's but we're doing the right thing bringing him through bit by bit.
Samilktray Posted 28 March 2016 Posted 28 March 2016 Man said "this boy is a bit special" during the game and we don't say that about every England player He's gonna be amazing soon
Ric Flair Posted 28 March 2016 Posted 28 March 2016 I've thought it for a while but I just have a feeling he is going to score the goal that wins us the league or an important goal that puts us within touching distance of it. Cutting in from the left and rifling a 25 yarder.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 28 March 2016 Posted 28 March 2016 He's in a great environment at Leicester because he has the ability to learn from Albrighton, Mahrez, Schlupp and Dyer, fellow wingers themselves. The talent is there as the other night proved, and as well as this he's already shown glimpses of what he's about. As the same with Okazaki, I think Gray having a season of PL football/experience could be key for his development. If we look at the current team and the success we've had, in the 2014/15 season players such as Drinkwater, Morgan and Vardy were having their first time coming up against high quality opposition on a consistent basis, they didn't do too badly, yet this season as a side and unit we are stronger, faster, tactically more advanced & progressed, as well as being generally more accomplished at playing at this level of football.
FireFox Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 So.. the most important question.. is he a Ranieri signing or a Walsh signing?
Grewks Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 So.. the most important question.. is he a Ranieri signing or a Walsh signing? we wanted him after he impressed pre-season, so he could be either. With Ranieri also wanting walsh to get a new deal, walsh is a ranieri signing aswell.
Loggy88 Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 Saw his assist for the under 21s the other night and it was superb. The way he can go past players is brilliant, so glad we managed to sign him. I think he definitely play a bigger role next season for us.
Guest Col city fan Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 Gray is only going to get better. Good, exciting signing. I'm looking forward to seeing him challenge for a first team spot.
Ashley Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 we wanted him after he impressed pre-season, so he could be either. With Ranieri also wanting walsh to get a new deal, walsh is a ranieri signing aswell. Sure we wanted him before that too? Then again it does help how he tore us apart for the majority of the game and he put one into the top bin
ARM1968 Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 Can only agree there guys. Hopefully the start of something great for a player who looks a very good prospect indeed.
foxy boxing Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 needs to have more game time with leicester maybe play him more next season

KingKante Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 Great signing, Ranieri has said how much he likes him so I expect to see alot more of him in the near future!
