ALC Fox Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 I love how he plays without fear and pressure. Sometimes you see young English players with big reputations bottle it, and creak and strain under the pressure. You've only got to look at John Stones to see how being young, English and the next big thing can affect a player's game. Kudos to Ranieri for managing Gray so effectively. He's clearly a great prospect, performing extremely well for us and England U21s of late.
Thracian Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 What with Lady Jane Grey as well, maybe Leicestershire needs to carry a health warning about putting your head near an active chopper!
Bryn Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Every time this boy comes on he impresses me, he was on for all of 3 minutes yesterday and managed to find time to impress me. A Premier League winner at 19, looks a superior (but very different) player to Mahrez at the same age and if he's got the right character, and given that we've signed him I suspect he does, I think he's got the potential to be the best player we've ever had.
AKCJ Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Hate to say it but if he played for United or Arsenal the media would be wanking themselves silly. The lad is a huge talent and will have a big say next season.
holyfox Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Got to agree, even in the few minutes he gets, he always seems to pull out something special. Only thing missing between him and rashford is goals.
norwichfox Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 He certainly looks a bit special, impressive even for the short time he came on yesterday, looking forward to him playing more next season.
GloverFox Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Yes, I have to agree with the assessment of a very exciting talent to move forward with. He has that natural confidence of youth to simply take on and beat opposition defenders ... Great to watch
Mikey Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 A pre season with our sports science team and coaches he'll be even better next year. Looks class.
lgfualol Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Kudos to Birmingham for helping develop him, I hope one day we can start producing players (chiwell the exception) as good as him at his age. Still cant believe he is 19. Going to be brilliant next season.
Matty Hamez Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 He certainly looks class. Touch (just a touch right now, mind) of the Mahrez about how he goes past players out on the right. They know Mahrez is gonna cut inside, they must know by now Gray's gonna go on the outside, but it doesn't mean you can stop them doing it.
fuchsntf Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Strange and yes bias angle.. This season a 50mil player is in Grays shadow. Sterling should of lit up Man.citys CL challenge and PL season... Sterling has forgot how to be young, arrogant , without fear. I hope, for footballs sake he comes good again. Gray this season in his subs role as played the football, Sterling seems to have forgotten.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Shows us glimpses of real star quality, and he's impressive every time he comes on. He's some talent and delighted we have him in our squad. Could be really useful for us.
cityfanlee23 Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 This is a serious talent, Genuinely believe under Claudio he has the making of a Mahrez mark 2. Would like to see him hit the gym a bit but my word, this guy is talent.
Foxxed Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 We have four excellent wingers. It's getting to the point where I'll be excited rather than trepidatious when we rotate for our increased fixtures next season.
theessexfox Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 I'm glad he's flying under the radar a bit, he has a bright future ahead of him.
Stevosevic Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Not in the under 21 squad for the tournament they have. Seems strange....
Alex_LCFC Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Jack grealish made the under 21 squad and not gray. Madness
lgfualol Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Not in the under 21 squad for the tournament they have. Seems strange.... Off to Thailand with the squad instead. Southgate is useless anyway.
st albans fox Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Makes no sense unless he has a knock. Of course there is a space in the euro squad for a wide player now ............
