Benji Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 I think yesterday's result changes things slightly. Had Norwich won they'd have had to come out and win but I think now they'll take a draw and look to beat Norwich. Another tight game that's difficult to call - here's hoping .
Jfox90 Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 No doubt in our lads abilities and spirit but regardless im so nervous, would never have thought sunderland away in april would feel like a cup final, potentially being 10 points clear if results go our way is blowing my mind! 2-0 leicester i hope, come on you foxes!
foxfanazer Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 I'd love us to contribute to sending them down to where they belong. Imagine how empty their stadium will be in the championship! Awful fans and an awful team to match. Cmon City!!

AyewJoking Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 i can see them dragging us down to their level but as long as we win so what? im going for a 2-1 leicester also think spurs will beat manu 2-1
jammie82uk Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 I think we will win this more comfortably than we think. They are down the bottom for a reason. The league table don't lie, they have been poor. Were solid at the back and we should run there back line ragged I'm expecting us to bag 2-3 goals today. Winning the league means beating these sort of teams home and away, would rather we did that now than wait for the last 2-3 games remaining I wonder how many fans and teams thought that about us this time last season
stevelcfc Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 I was pretty calm before reading this thread, but now I'm sweating like a particularly sweaty armadillo.
PhillippaT Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 We better win this one - (it is my birthday ) - since I don't fancy having to worry about the Spurs game afterwards, while I'm out (partying )
The Guvnor Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 A win for us and for Utd and I think we've cracked it,hope Cattermole isn't hell bent on smashing Riyad, Defoe with his Spurs affinity will be busting a gut to score jeebus i,m nervous COYB.

MGLCFC Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 I don't think there's anything I hate more than match days at the moment. I'm not built for this level of stress. Ditto. Think I'll go for a snooze like the Palace game and hopefully wake up to another 3 points, then watch it all relaxed and chilled at 4pm.
whetstonefox Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 It's going to be a tough game, although they have been poor most of the season, they have a competent manager and are used to getting big results this time of the season. Their 4 undefeated, albeit draws, no room for complacency , not that I'd think the players will think it's easy anyway, just have to look where we was this time 12 months ago. It'll probably be scrappy, as long as we keep Defoe quiet we should create a few chances, just a matter of taking them, be nice to see Vardy get a couple
Guest BlueBrett Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 They've looked a different side since bringing that Kirchoff bloke or whatever he's called in to the midfield and there's no doubt big Sam will have them up for this one. Defoe always dangerous as well but I still think we should have enough. We will need to play well though I feel
ManWithCheese Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 going for sunderland draw cheeky 2€ whenever i played the opposite in leicester we always won thats my luck will be harder than the saints for sure btw

Ecdysiast Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Sam is a quality manager and if he'd been in at the start of the season, they'd be a decent low/mid-table team. I think they'll play for draw and hope to nick one but with our defence no-chance. Time for Vardy to break his run and beak their hearts at The Stadium of Shite....
Crinklyfox Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 I've a lot of respect for Sam Allerdyce and expect him to set Sunderland up to be hard to break down. Having said that he can only work with the players he has so we can win this if we play to our potential.

sdb Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 I feel absolutely terrible. Massive respect to any fans who remain optimistic on match days. If we can do this with minimal hassle I'd be very much appreciative!!!
Guest LCFC_World Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 0-1 Drinkwater. Another scrappy 1-0 win as they will be playing for the draw. The finishing line is close, let's get this gap to 10 points rather than 4.. 6 pointer!
Sir Shep Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Useless fact of the day: LCFC have never kept five consecutive clean sheets in the top flight. Time to continue adding to our history. Nailed on for Defoe to score then!

Winning the league means beating these sort of teams home and away, would rather we did that now than wait for the last 2-3 games remaining they are at the bottom because they realised things so later they trusted advoocat their ex-manager and when they sack him things gone better and they would be a mid team like 15th 14th if they started with sam allardyce

Osavo Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Bloody hell I'm nervous for this now. Playoffs, relegation dogfights but I've never felt this bad. It's tough supporting City...
