Loggy88 Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 2-1 to the foxes, I think it will be a hard fought win like last Sunday, Mahrez to score first and Vardy to get back amongst the goals with the second.
Guest Col city fan Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 I said initially that I would have been happy with a point, but Gerard and his maths % and probabilities has confused the fvck out of me and now I'm paranoid that it must be a MUST WIN game. A draw will feel like a fvckin defeat now FFS lol
TrentFox Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 Not a gambler, but if I was I'd have a cheeky fiver on Sunderland being awarded a penalty.
sylofox Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 I'm much more confident about this one that the Southampton game. I just don't see Sunderland hurting us and they are down there for a reason, and Big Sam has hardly had the impact everyone thought he would. I think we will win. Just hope Gooners and Spurs drop points! They are down there for a reason. I just bet everyone was saying that about us hmmmmm let me think. Oh yes 12 months ago.
EastAnglianFox Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 Not a gambler, but if I was I'd have a cheeky fiver on Sunderland being awarded a penalty. I was also thinking this, after all the rubbish being spouted about the referees even getting caught up in our fairytale and the decisions we are supposedly getting week on week. Defoe penalty incoming...but as we will be already 0-3 up it will pass as a minor annoyance.
Rasmic123 Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 not gonna lie, was a bit nervous before the soton game but confident we'll win this and probably the two games after it. Think spurs might draw with united too as they're crap against the better teams

filbertway Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 So in one corner we've got rain man who lives by numbers and in the other corner, people who prefer to make judgements based on gut feeling. At the end of the day though, it really means nothing. A good weekend is us at the very least maintaining a 7 point gap over Tottenham. How that happens, it doesn't really matter. A bad weekend would be losing ground and a great weekend would be gaining ground. I reckon Defoe will be the guy to finally breach our defence. He's been looking pretty sharp this season and can basically run through Huth's legs. On the flip side, I fancy us to finally bag more than one goal. I'm going for a hot little 1-3 victory.
Izzy Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 lol Are you posting on FT even on your wedding day Col? That's dedication right there for you folks
MakingEmileOfIt Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 This could be a huge weekend. Tottenham at home to Man United and Arsenal away to West Ham... If we win and they both don't it'll be very hard to try and say we aren't going to win the league...
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 I'll take another 4-2 win. But Sunderland won't score 2 so 4-0. Anything less is a shameful failure.
treer Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 3*0 , time people stopped being silly and paranoid talking about draws title winners don't fail to beat relegation candidates at this stage of the season third goal will kill mackems spirit, city will then sit back and see out the game
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 Think everyone should just sit back & relax. Enjoy it whilst it lasts stop worrying yourselves all the time!
Fox 4 Life Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 They are battling but we have to remember they are there for a reason and looked dire against West Brom at home last week. Cue a great performance from them but IF we play to our abilities we should win this, hopefully they attack us and we can just pick them apart like the opening game.

They may not of scored but they created a lot of good opportunities. Even Big Sam said he can't believe how unfortunate they were.

Even Big Sam said he can't believe how unfortunate they were. As we fully know from last season, creating chances and not winning doesn't help in the slightest, dire was probably harsh but not scoring at home to WBA is not great however you look at it. My point is more that they are not on some crazy revival so we should go there expecting to win.

He would hate to drop points to us especially since it seems the title is either ours or Spurs.

I just think we need to go in there confident that if we play our game we can come away with 3 points. Defoe is the worry, he is still class!
Captain... Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 Whilst losing this game wouldn't immediately cost us the title it would give Spurs a massive boost going into their hardest game left. The psychological impact of us dropping points will give Spurs hope if they then beat Man U it will put the pressure on going into a tough game against West Ham, 4 points clear would still be a great position, but pressure and momentum are funny things. Beating Sunderland would put us 10 points clear and put the pressure on Spurs against United

Defoe is the worry, he is still class! 100% the result will depend on the intensity we set when it comes to pressing there back line & midfield. They won't be able to cope with pressure & will hoof the ball long! There defence is prone to mistakes too.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 Had a dream last night that we won 1-0 scoring in the 78th min. The only issue was that Nugent was the scorer.

Beating Sunderland would put us 10 points clear and put the pressure on Spurs against United What a fantastic weekend it could be. Arsenal fail to win at West Ham. Leicester win at Sunderland. On hearing the news of our victory it deflates the Tottenham players and they lose focus on their game in the next half hour and go out and lose to Man Utd. Leicester 10pts clear with five to play and the possibility of us winning the title on a week on Monday. I fear it won't be that easy though.
LCCFox96 Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 I'm on edge for this game. 3 points here and Spurs dropping anything against Man Utd would be a massive result.

Last night I dreamt that we lost 2-1 in the last minute to a goal scored by a small middle aged Japanese woman with glasses, but it was ok because it was a cup game and our rivals drew and had a replay, so in the end it wasn't that bad.
