Ashley Posted 7 April 2016 Posted 7 April 2016 I think this will be like many other away games for us, we've dismantled teams whilst soaking up everything other teams have threw at us. 1 or 2-0 win despite Sunderland deserving something from the game with the chances they've had.
st albans fox Posted 7 April 2016 Posted 7 April 2016 Looks like I've missed all the fun on this thread today! Just to confirm that @@Gerard is in fact a very successful (and last time I checked very rich) professional gambler. He also resembles a 7ft brick wall so I wouldn't argue to his face You haven't seen him for eight years - he might have shrunk! there really is no reason why we won't win this. however, I'm expecting a frustrating draw ala west brom
Great Boos Up Posted 7 April 2016 Posted 7 April 2016 Is he going to Sunderland? I got beaten up there once and would like to stand behind him. In my defence I was...very...very drunk. My apologies to any Mackems reading this. They were Smoggies. Wrong game! In my defence I was ...very...very drunk.
Jack1993 Posted 7 April 2016 Posted 7 April 2016 Would you take a draw now without knowing the other results? What I would take would always fully depend on other results haha we've been through this
weller54 Posted 7 April 2016 Posted 7 April 2016 Only Arsenal and Liverpool have beaten us this season... Sunderland are nowhere good enough to be added to that list!
Guest LCFC_World Posted 7 April 2016 Posted 7 April 2016 never been so nervous about a football game before... Let's just win this 0-5 ok ?
Brainy Posted 7 April 2016 Posted 7 April 2016 never been so nervous about a football game before... Since last week
MakingEmileOfIt Posted 7 April 2016 Posted 7 April 2016 A draw would not be a good result, how are people even arguing this? It's obviously not season defining but that doesn't make it less of a bad result. Villa was a bad result. Bournemouth was a bad result. Sunderland have won 6 out of 31. We are the best side in the league....we should win this and anything less isn't a good result.
kingcarr21 Posted 7 April 2016 Posted 7 April 2016 This all stemmed from it being a 'must win' game. Which it catergorically is NOT a must win game hense why people (me included) are saying a draw isnt the worst result in the world. People need to chill the f*** out haha

Which it catergorically is NOT a must win game hense why people (me included) are saying a draw isnt the worst result in the world. People need to chill the f*** out haha I said initially that I would have been happy with a point, but Gerard and his maths % and probabilities has confused the fvck out of me and now I'm paranoid that it must be a MUST WIN game. A draw will feel like a fvckin defeat now FFS
Floridafox Posted 7 April 2016 Posted 7 April 2016 Jack and Gerard.....it's gotten incredibly boring...might want to start a new thread......see if it goes 100 pages.....5000/1 odds on skybet I found myself humming John Cougar Mellencamp's Jack and Diane while reading that
Foxfan501 Posted 7 April 2016 Posted 7 April 2016 I'm scared to even predict a result, so I'll just say good luck and fingers crossed !
STUHILL Posted 7 April 2016 Posted 7 April 2016 I'm much more confident about this one that the Southampton game. I just don't see Sunderland hurting us and they are down there for a reason, and Big Sam has hardly had the impact everyone thought he would. I think we will win. Just hope Gooners and Spurs drop points!
NewEnglandFox Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 Some of y'all would have saved a bunch of time by going on Sports Club Stats. http://www.sportsclubstats.com/England/Premier.html http://www.sportsclubstats.com/England/LeicesterCity.html
biggs Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 If Spurs were playing Sunderland away on Sunday and we had Man U at home. Think most on here would think Spurs had it easier and they would come away with a win. That is how I would see it taking the emotion of being a Leicester fan out of the equation. Are we not better or at least as good as Spurs? Stands to reason most Spurs fans are freaking.....even those convincing themselves Leicester sitting higher in the standings than them is absolute rubbish I like our prospects this weekend
Guest Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 I won't say this is 'must win' but it's obviously pretty important match for its potential knock-on effect for the remaining 5. If we win and Spurs draw or lose, i think it would take away just about the last few ounces of belief or drive they might have had. On the other, if Spurs take 3 points and we draw or lose, it will feel like a momentum shift, and even though we'd still be ahead, there would be a palpable sense of mortality. Not that I don't think the players could handle a setback this sunday, but for us fans it would be excruciating. Let's get this over with, i know longer enjoy football. I want my trophy and i want to go home.
reynard Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 For anyone who thinks this will be easy I'd just like to remind you of the score against Villa or the game against Bournemouth and the struggle against Norwich. We are not playing that well in my opinion and they are fighting for their position in this league. They created a lot of chances in their last game and will do so against us. This may not be a must win game but for me this has to be won. We must assume that we need 4 wins and I think we will struggle to get them if we don't win at Sunderland. For me this is potentially the pivotal weekend of the run in. Spurs and Arsenal have tougher looking games than we do but they both might win them. There's far too much media frenzy and people thinking it is all over for me. It isn't. We haven't even made the top 4 yet but a win at Sunderland would go a long long way towards making that happen.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 Good job the players are just taking it one game at a time and think they can win every one of them. Better than the maths-based docu-soap on here, bloody hell.
biggs Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 Let's get this over with, i know longer enjoy football. I want my trophy and i want to go home. I couldn't be more the opposite of you. I'm loving it and wouldn't want it any other way. We are playing superb as a team...composed and confident

foxinsox Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 Sunderland can console themselves that next years NE derby will be the best one outside the prem (though Bham vs Villa will be a good one too). I would quite like to see us demolish them and get a better goal difference. 4 nil to City. Big Sams reputation is going down with Benitez.

Stands to reason most Spurs fans are freaking.....even those convincing themselves Leicester sitting higher in the standings than them is absolute rubbish I like our prospects this weekend Tbh, Spurs fans are generally freaking at the prospect of finishing below arsenal! I'm getting tired with the experts predicting we won't win - again. All logic says a Leicester win. Those of us predicting a draw are doing so with our 'Leicester bias' of expecting the worst. Hopefully Riyad will have rested well and be raring to go again. Remember wes was off colour last Sunday and tired. most of the boys being away on international duty would have interfered with Claudio's detailed tactical planning. We will be well prepared to exploit all of sunderlands weaknesses. How I hate feeling confident - it just doesn't air with the past 50 years!
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 2 days to go and the excitement / terror is building Come on Leicester Up the Foxes
les-tah Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 With Sunderland needing more than draws at this point they have got to attack and not just sit back! Hopefully this plays into are hands, buzzing for sunday.
simon789us Posted 8 April 2016 Posted 8 April 2016 Got a feeling this will be an open game plenty of chances both teams have to go for it 3-1 city me thinks
