treer Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 leicester are 2.0 v westham with everybody's friend victor
Cornish Lair Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 "COMETH THE HOUR, COMETH THE MAN" Now is the time when Claudio Ranieri earns his money on the final stretch to the finishing post..
st albans fox Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 If we were 2.4 on Betfair at home to Southampton there's no way we'll be even money against West Ham.
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 not that it's too relevant to this thread... but west ham play Arsenal, then mid week fa cup replay with man u and then play us at the KP.... so will have a tough run of games in the space of a week.
Gerard Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 image.jpeg , I'm a professional gambler, I know what I'm talking about when it comes to odds and probability. These are 120% overround books offering terrible odds on unformed markets trying to catch a bit of mug money. I'll guarantee you on the day you'll get between 11/8 and 6/4 in Asia or on Betfair on Leicester beating West Ham. We went off at 2.4 against Southampton so the odds will be similar.

Not disputing that but I'm making comparisons. We are shorter odds to beat West Ham than Sunderland. the value on that site is surely irrelevant when it comes to comparing differences week to week.

Donut Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 Why do Sunderland "have to push"??? just because they have to WIN doesnt mean they will PUSH for a win. Theyll probably be more than happy to sit in, make it difficult and frustrate us, and bank on quick breaks with full backs and set piece delivery from Khazri. Narrow win again for me.
Guest Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 Whats the name of these seaside pubs everyones pointing me to ?. Are they going to be open that early?. If the tide's out are they still considered seaside pubs?
WesMorganGod Posted 6 April 2016 Posted 6 April 2016 Oh I just realized this game is on sunday, I thought it was saturday for some reason, hmm I am sure it was saturday before.
MakingEmileOfIt Posted 6 April 2016 Posted 6 April 2016 We need to get 12 points from our remaining six games so that's all we should concentrate on, not Arsenal or Spurs run in. Let's just assume they'll both win every game. I feel if we score we win, and I have no doubt we will score at least once. 5/4 seems a great price to be honest. A lot of arguments on here wether the game is 'easy' or not... Seems a bot pointless. We've won away at Man City, West Ham, Spurs and were very unlucky at Arsenal. We have the best away record in the division. Should we be fearing 5th placed Man United or 10th placed Chelsea? Definitely not. 18th placed Sunderland? Hell no! We get annoyed on here when people underestimate us continuously but we do it ourselves each week. On paper, you'd have this down as an away win. I know they'll be fighting, but so will we and we don't seem to come out second best in many fights. Defoe is dangerous and can finish but Wes and Huth have been awesome all season, and rarely get sucked out of position. We won't give him the space he gets against other sides due to the way we set up defensively. We won't leave space in behind because of his pace and our lack of (defensively), and if Defoe decides to drop deep Kante and Drinkwater will be there... PVA loves to get forward but can be got at defensively. Plus, we don't mind teams having the ball out wide and putting crosses into the box, especially against Sunderland who don't seem to have much of an aerial threat up top. Sunderland will have to be at their best to get anything from us and even then we'd have to be below par. 0-2 Vardy, Mahrez.
ithuriel Posted 6 April 2016 Posted 6 April 2016 Still say we need to win just three more games since the other two will draw or lose at least one, just have to keep winning and realise that both Spurs and the Arse cant afford to slip up anymore so the pressure on them is going to be the same.
DennisNedry Posted 6 April 2016 Posted 6 April 2016 Starting to get a little nervy for this game now. Can see Defoe netting.
HighPeakFox Posted 6 April 2016 Posted 6 April 2016 Starting to get a little nervy for this game now. Can see Defoe netting. I can see clearly now the rain has gone.........
Haydos Posted 6 April 2016 Posted 6 April 2016 the league winners sign a 34 year old striker from a team that got relegated. He's been very impressive this season tbf, still got that instinct and strikes it well.
simon789us Posted 6 April 2016 Posted 6 April 2016 Going to be a tough game make no mistake think if we play to our best we can get the 3 points then hope both spuds and arse slip up
weller54 Posted 6 April 2016 Posted 6 April 2016 I can see clearly now the rain has gone......... ..I can see all obstacles in our way.. None!!
TJB-fox Posted 6 April 2016 Posted 6 April 2016 Huge game, can't afford to lose this. Too many city fans/general football stakeholders thinking we've already won it. Dangerous game.
HighPeakFox Posted 6 April 2016 Posted 6 April 2016 Huge game, can't afford to lose this. Too many city fans/general football stakeholders thinking we've already won it. Dangerous game. But not the players, nor the manager. They are the only ones that really count.
Jobyfox Posted 6 April 2016 Posted 6 April 2016 It would be nice just to win a game well for a change. To be 2 or 3 goals up when entering the last 5 minutes. Although, of course, I'd take a 90th minute own goal and a scrappy 1-0 win to us. It's just that I've forgotten what it's like to watch a game without my buttocks clenched for the entire duration of the match.
ARM1968 Posted 6 April 2016 Posted 6 April 2016 Fighting to stay up or fighting to win the title - both worth fighting hard for.
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 6 April 2016 Posted 6 April 2016 Sunderland havn't been getting hammered lately. they last lost 4-1 away to spurs in january.... since then they've been losing by the odd goal and have recently picked up draws against the same teams we've beaten 1-0.... Will be a very tough game. hopefully Mahrez turns up... he usually does away from home where he gets a bit more room
kingcarr21 Posted 6 April 2016 Posted 6 April 2016 Sunderland fans are optimistic to say the least after Mahrez looking jaded and Vardy not scoring for club for a few games. Im sorry but if Cattermole is on the pitch then we win. We will absolutely boss the midfield and Mahrez will run them ragged. Vardy brace and Mahrez. 3-0
jammie82uk Posted 6 April 2016 Posted 6 April 2016 Stat time Sunderland's 4-2 defeat to Leicester on the opening day of the season was their first loss in eight league games against the Foxes (W4 D3). Leicester have scored just once in five Premier League visits to Sunderland (D3 L2). Marc Albrighton scored and assisted two further goals in Leicester's 4-2 win over Sunderland in August. The Black Cats have enjoyed just one win in their last 10 Premier League games (D6 L3). Leicester have never kept five consecutive clean sheets in the top-flight, last keeping five in 1979/80 in the second tier when they kept six in a row. Sunderland have now drawn their last four league games in a row; only once before have they registered five consecutive Premier League draws (Sep/Oct 2010). Claudio Ranieri has used the same starting line-up in 11 different top-flight games this season; no other starting line-up (from any side) has appeared more than five times. Sam Allardyce has averaged just 1.04 points per game with Sunderland this season, his lowest average return from a single Premier League campaign. 18 of the Foxes' 20 Premier League wins this season have come despite having a lower share of possession. Leicester's last four top-flight games have all ended in 1-0 wins; only once before has a team registered five consecutive Premier League 1-0 wins (Everton in November 2002).
