foxes_rule1978 Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Too much focus on the ref - not enough on how brilliantly our guys did to come back from multiple hammer blows and find enough strength to secure a result. That, is the sign of champions! Absolutely we were brilliant, and to defend as well as we did with 10 for so long was fantastic... A massive point that is, 8 needed now
katieakita Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Hats off to Leo that took some reals guts to step up, Jon Moss the fact the cameras zoomed in on him at the end says it all, an absolute shocking game could have given another 3 or 4 red cards then to even it up he gives us a shocking penno at the end what a joke
wardyfox86 Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Back onto what WE did. Massive performance from Ulloa, held the ball up superbly and was never in doubt for the penalty. We will be fine against the swans.
m4DD0gg Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Sky are saying repetition of the fouling was the cause of their peno. I can kind of see that, huth and morgan have been terrors all game. Still an abysmal performance by the ref though.
WesMorganGod Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 we never give up and will never accept to lose!!! COME ON YOU FOXES!!!!!!!!!!! what a great way to end it. The ref was awful all match, constantly giving them free kicks for nothing, he was awful. 8 points clear.
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 That was ultimately very much a point won not two dropped. Thought the first Vardy card was harsh but he was silly for the second. Gone now. Great for Leo to score that penalty under so much pressure. Will need him big time next week!
Shinji-San Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Moss you ****ing **** Agreed that Vardy dived but didn't really deserve the red, Oh, perhaps I should read the rules again
Merging Cultures Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Not a dive, their player has a hand on him and then their legs tangle. Yes Vardy moves into him, but it's still a tangle. Not a sending off. https://youtu.be/-naupO0vB8s
Saigon Fox Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 What a team. Never gave up, kept going even when the ref was an utter 'you-know-what'. Proud of the boys. Come on Stoke!!
EGBFitness Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 My opinions on the big refereeing decisions would be: 1) On the vardy penalty, i dont think its a penalty, but its not a red card either. There is contact between the two players, but the contact was instigated by Vardy. Id have just played on if i was the referee, it was a tangle and neither a foul or a dive. 2) On the morgan foul on reid, this probably is a foul. BUT, this happens 20 times in a game and goes unpunished. As is evidenced by a similar incident on huth not being given a few mins later. So on that basis, he shouldnt have given the penalty or he should give all of the decisions similar to that. 3) The penalty on Schlupp was not a penalty. It was ridiculously harsh and clearly a "level up" decision. Thought John Moss refereed the first half well, and then totally lost the plot in the 2nd half. Pretty spot on analysis tbf. Vardy did play for the penalty but like you put wasn't a book able offence. There was contact but it was the manner in which Vardy conducted himself. Reid foul happens up and down the country at every level. How I can't accept it is that Wes is holding the Reid yet Reid falls forward. Unless he is pushed which he wasn't he shouldn't fall forward. We had just as many fouls in the West Ham box as they did with us. Either everyone is given or allow to play on.
Harry96 Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Vardy first yellow wasn't even a yellow even Henry said it
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Neither were penalties. Abysmal refereeing. Leo was heroic when he came on, played Jeff in all
benpicko Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Oh, perhaps I should read the rules again ? Go ahead fam
fazzyfox Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Winston Reid, how can a pull from behind and a grip on your side propel you forwards, do we need to re-write the laws of physics?
filbertway Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Henry and Heskey summing it up perfectly here. I forgot Vardy's first yellow was such a poor decision. The one on Huth that everyone is crying for, West Ham should have had 4 pens haha.
KFS Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 I feel physically sick, like if I'm not on here posting tomorrow just tell the coroner "Leicester City".
Aus Fox Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Referee has had a shocker: Second yellow for Vardy for diving less than 5 minutes later a dive from Payet no second yellow. A penalty for Wes holding, a few minutes later Huth has arms around his neck holding him down- no penalty. My opinion, it was a penalty on Vardy! He is clearly fouled. There's an argument that we should have been 2-0 and them down to 10. Inconsistent and frustrating.
foxy boxing Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 The ref was useless but saved us in the end cue moaning from the spuds
WesMorganGod Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 The first yellow card for Vardy was not a yellow at all, disgusting. look at it again.. his tackle actually missed the west ham player, and then the player kept running and fell over Vardys legs, its impossible to move out of the way.
Steven Posted 17 April 2016 Author Posted 17 April 2016 Just me who thinks the ref wasn't that bad? Vardy dived for the pen. Fair result in the end and a great game to watch. The ref was very poor.
Merging Cultures Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Not a dive, their player has a hand on him and then their legs tangle. Yes Vardy moves into him, but it's still a tangle. Not a sending off. https://youtu.be/-naupO0vB8s

Not a sending off. https://youtu.be/-naupO0vB8s This is the problem. If the was no contact then it is a dive all day long. Vardy has done it for years playing smart to get a penalty. He puts his leg across the defender for a coming together and force the foul

KFS Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Also fvck off Martin Tyler "you just can't keep winning 1-0". How's that you fvcking arse grabber?
