King Richards road right now - Ranieri mural

That's like a photograph. Absolutely brilliant.

Just been to view it, it is amazing, quite a few coming and going to take pictures of it.

There are a lot of good artists like him around, to have the talent to shade, proportion, capture everything is a gift.

It's a shame it's not on a more prominent wall on a main road, just hope no one vandalises it.

Perhaps there is someway to safeguard it, either through placing a plexiglass cover on the wall itself or some sort of coating that is paint resistant?

I'm trying to email Sir Peter Soulsby to allow some funding to get this protected/cordoned off somehow

The council website SPS "Contact Me" link just refreshes his home page.

This is just too good a piece of artwork to be left to arseholes to tag and/or damage which, lets face it, will probably happen.

If SPS says no, then i'll try to raise a petition.

Fingers crossed nobody tags over this - you'd think everyone in the city has enough pride to respect it but I doubt it - some little **** will no doubt ruin it.
