Great Boos Up Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 I'm not a critic but I keep staring at this and it's almost as if a different artist has sprayed each player. Ranieri looks like he is watching over me and I could actually touch his face, it's beautiful. But the others now look out of perspective and are uncomfortably strange. Still; the whole wall looks great and credit to Marks Electrical.
DEMANN Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 I feel like I want to vandalise the Mahrez and Schmeichel ones. I said I didn't like them, in front of him, the day he was finishing Schmeichel. He didn't seem bothered. My next step might be to lob a few tins of paint at them.
sdb Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 There does appear to be a lot more depth in the Ranieri one. Looks like he could work a little more into a few of them. So impressive though.
1972 Fox Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Someone's hammered a bolt into his forehead. The bolt is to make sure he can't go anywhere!

Older people have more character and features to their faces, the players are all in their 20's, 30's so their skin is a lot smoother, less textured, less features. Google Paul Cadden, he draws in pencil and is a hyper real artist, most of his pictures are of old people like this one.

sdb Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Dread to think what that'll look like in a year when he's just won the league with Arsenal
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 26 May 2016 Posted 26 May 2016 Like this idea... bolt him down by his head until the end of the transfer window

Freeman's Wharfer Posted 29 May 2016 Posted 29 May 2016 Next bit of painting that needs doing is double yellow lines in front of it all so that they aren't obscured by parked cars!
lebleu Posted 29 May 2016 Posted 29 May 2016 Would be interesting to see what this guy could add to one of our tifos
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 29 May 2016 Posted 29 May 2016 Would be interesting to see what this guy could add to one of our tifos Has serious potential.
steveherbe Posted 29 May 2016 Posted 29 May 2016 Has serious potential. Nah, takes too fookin long. We need someone who can paint the whole thing in 2 hours then get down the pub!

Jimothy Posted 29 May 2016 Posted 29 May 2016 I've not been down and seen this yet, but from these pictures there seems to be a star player who'd I expect to be pretty central who not been painted yet.

SystonFox Posted 29 May 2016 Posted 29 May 2016 That can't be a painting it's a photo projected onto the wall
Jimothy Posted 29 May 2016 Posted 29 May 2016 Leon Črnčič? That's the one. Conrad should have on there first tbh. They're installing a bench instead.

Great Boos Up Posted 29 May 2016 Posted 29 May 2016 Now I truly understand the notion of less is more. Ranieri over our flag was a Mona Lisa and it's now ruined.
