blue army 1988 Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 Will it be protected when he has finished it? Maybe with a perspects screen or something like they do to banksy projects.
MarksElectrical Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 Will it be protected when he has finished it? Maybe with a perspects screen or something like they do to banksy projects. We'll look into what is practical, given the size and complexity of the project. For one thing, the surface isn't even flat, (which is why Mahrez has a pipe going through his head). Regards
CosbehFox Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 I went down on Monday and found it oddly emotional. Funny that pipe bit has been mentioned as my Mum said 'look he's even done the pipe in Mahrez's head'
promised land Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 http://www.richardwilsonartwork.com/blog Great to see local people helping out where they can. Regards stopping kids graffiti over it, just get Bernie down there to scare them off.
LestaAl Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 http://www.richardwi...rtwork.com/blog Check out the blog - its a good read...
Larry_LCFC Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 Who's next? Mahrez looks like the Algerian version of Harry Potter with that pipe on his forehead
Fitbaphile Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 Mahrez looks like the Algerian version of Harry Potter with that pipe on his forehead He's magic, you know
promised land Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 Who's next? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhfEsHn9-3k I bet he loves all the questions they're asking him while he's trying to roll the wall, price of fame I suppose. He has got serious talent and whoever from Marks found him deserves a pat on the back too. Shall go for my weekly view tomorrow. Keep it up Richard you're making thousands of fans very happy indeed.

It was he that found Mark's Electrical rather than the other way around.
Len Finsbury Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 I might be on my own here but I preferred it as Claudio only. The other portraits are excellent but I think it'll look too much when it's done.

Chester Dontlie Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 I thought he was going to do the Leicester crowd behind Claudio, not a portrait gallery! Yes, adding same-sized players' faces does take away a bit from Don Ranieri... Perhaps it was the sponsor's/owner's idea. Still a great effort from Richard
ealingfox Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 Would prob have left it at Claudio and the flag. They are brilliant pictures of the players and he's well talented but only doing 4 players begs the question why those players and not others.

Wymsey Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 Obviously Marks Electrical are using this for their own advantage.
yag101 Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 What do you expect them to do? Use it to their disadvantage?!
Out Foxed Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 i'm of the opinion it should have just been Mr Ranieri. But there you go, still looks great. Just loses some impact
promised land Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 Obviously Marks Electrical are using this for their own advantage. You're right, I went down there on Saturday and you couldn't move for the number of people with a washing machine under their arm or a range cooker, most had the new top on too. A dinosaur even appeared on the roof behind the barbed wire, what's that all about?
