Guest Bob Hazels shorts Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Some of the high profile players under MON during those glory years even though most earning very high salaries are pretty skint now. Dividing by 2 hasn't helped. Seems happy with life as it is here.
Mezeker Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Some of the comments on here, the personal attacks on his appearance, his upbringing, attacking his family gas. Absolutely no facts about this have come out and yet you chide him about a lack of loyalty? I wonder how many of you were concerned about his loyalty when you took him from fleetwood? Disgusting "fans". Rebekah Vardy /wave
st albans fox Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Will 'ooo Jamie vardeh' become 'boo Jamie vardeh' ? I just had to explain to my five year old that he has to stop talking about JV and lcfc now. He doesn't understand.
EastAnglianFox Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 With the reports that PSG have now triggered Kantes release clause I might head over to that thread as it's gone a bit stale on here.
ian_marshall Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 People need to chill. If he goes it's not the end of world, we move on its as simple as that. Whilst he has hinted recently that no one should be looking to leave, if he goes I won't be angry with him as he's just looking out for himself which most people would do given the circumstances. I also think that timing of the sale isn't particularly bad as I can't honestly see him replicating the form that he has shown this season over the next 4 season's so it might be best for all parties that he moves on. Also, looking at his form from the New Year it was OK, but it was nowhere near the level he set in the first half of the season so people within the club might be questioning whether or not he was starting to be found out a little. If he goes for closer to £30m I'll think that the club have done a good bit of business, however if it's towards the £20m mark I'll be extremely disappointed with the club and whoever is heading up contract negotiations as I'm sure without the clause we'd be looking in the region of £30m, and at the point when he signed the new contract there was absolutely no need for the club to push this through so it was rather naive.
Buzzell Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 With the reports that PSG have now triggered Kantes release clause I might head over to that thread as it's gone a bit stale on here. Let's get it to 100 pages!
filbertway Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Very funny you dumb c.unt Haha! In all seriousness, I agree with scouse on this. Feels a bit like you've just got married to the girl of your dreams after overcoming a lot of troubles, then she tells you on the plane to the honeymoon that she wants a divorce and is leaving you for the sleazy looking bloke that had been talking to her at the wedding do. I still find it hard to believe it's even got a chance of happening.
superfox1980 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 The abuse towards Vardy is way out of order. Nothing concrete has come from him at all. Do we even know if he wants the move?! No, we don't. Until he's stood in an Gooners shirt he's still our man. At the end of the day, he has to consider this as any of us would when offered the chance of a new job with more cash. He's probably got 3 decent years ahead of him with his style of play. Agreed, to come out and say he's committed here was foolish on his part. Why say anything if you know something is on the horizon? But again we don't know the full story, it's all speculation and the chance for certain members of the media to create done hype for themselves. Personally I think, if he doesn't want to be here, then fvck him, see ya! Our club is in the best position it's ever been in. We'll move forward with or without Jamie Vardy.

It will be moving backwards when we lose Kante and Mahrez. May as well get Rob Kelly back.
Mike20166 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 That is completely different, he was given the opportunity to jump up to he championship. Nobody could begrudge him that move. He is moving from a team that took a chance on him and supported him through his dark times to help him become who he is now, to a team that finished 10 points behind us and can offer him nothing more than we can but money. He's still moving up the football pyramid. He delivered you PL title, his reward is financial security for the rest of his life and champions league football for the rest of his career. You're also getting a 2000% mark up on him. But yeh, lets slag off his family anyway.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Why haven't stringer and co mentioned a thing about this?
ARM1968 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 We should all just smile, have a coke and shut the fcuk up b
VLC86 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 For anyone who wants a summary of the last 105 pages please see below.... Vardy is going to Arsenal It's his wife's fault Worlds going to end We have no proof Other than every news source in country Don't abuse his wife He's a dirt chav Repeat 1000x
Mark_w Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 He's still moving up the football pyramid. Are you sure you're not holding your table upside down?
polarbear Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Tbh there's no way back for him now, he's soured the relationship with owners managers fans and most importantly his teammates. This will turn into the Rooney man u/man city situation
MCaineFOTT Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Not that i condone the abuse but Vardys mrs seems to be loving the attention at the minute.
Guest ttfn Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 the money doesn't matter though, really. they could have him on a free or give us 60 mill and I'd still feel the same. it's not the club to club business that anyone's batting an eyelid at here, it's the fact jamie vardy wants to leave. horrible. I don't feel emotional about it at all. Obviously it's disappointing that he wants to go but the idea that we could lose a player around which we build the team without being properly compensated does make me worried about the bigger picture.

Arsenal are a bigger club granted but it's in no way comparable to moving from non league football to the Championship.
brucey Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 You can all still use the same chant.. just with added punctuation "You're just a sh*t, Jamie Vardy" (I always found that chant odd)
EnglishOxide Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 To be honest, if it's true that we agreed to sell him to Wednesday at the start of the season for £5m and Ranieri blocked it, you can see why he may have issue with loyalty. It's a two way street, and ultimately a business.
LCFC FOX Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 If he goes I can just imagine our fans singing you're just a shit Harry Kane towards him now
