linemakers Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 The one way for the big clubs to stay at the top is to buy the upcoming teams best players even if they don't fit their system. Man U did it for years and now so are Arse and Chelsea. If they can disrupt Leicester by buying one or two main players they hope that we won't be a force to worry about

If they can disrupt Leicester by buying one or two main players they hope that we won't be a force to worry about It's because they are shit scared. The money train has finally come round to hurt them. Leicester proved that last season and next season there is going to be a lot more teams with an added belief and a lot more financial clout.
foxoffderby Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 I must be the only person who is not fussed if vardy goes. Kante is the one we need to hide.
linemakers Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Need to keep all our best players and add to the team to have a real go at the league again next year
Moksky Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 People flapping too much. They activated a release clause. Just as they did Suarez. I'm not worried. It will be Mahrez next week.
VLC86 Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 There's more chance of us signing Fatima Whitbread than him going to Arsenal. Honestly. This has such potential.
VLC86 Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 The same Sky Sources that said Pearson was sacked the first time Are you forgetting he actually did get sacked and then reinstated?
mozartfox Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Hopefully Top is on top of this. Vichai is an astute business man which means he will not let LCFC get dicked about by Arsehole Winge-r and Vardy's fvck ing agent who appears to be the tossed behind all this. I have supported this Club for 50 years and I will continue to do so whoever decides the grass is greener elsewhere. I do not understand how release clauses work. If a player in under contract does it mean we have to sell or does it just give the right to another club to technical offer the sum and then talk to and unsettle the player?
GaelicFox Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 His Mrs getting a beasting in paper , how much do we have to pay her for him to stay Vanity , vulgarity ....Vardy (well it might as well suggest it)
DangerFox Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Could he go? Yes tbh, might be attracted by big club and all that comes with it, plus Wilshere in his ear, plus new wife might want London, etc. Should he go? IMO, no. Legendary status is only a couple of years away. Yes he's a hero of last year but he could go down as the best ever Leicester play. He won't at Arsenal. Will he go? Hope not and if I had to stick my neck out, I'd say I'm worried. A good indication is the betting system. NORMALLY, they try to never get it wrong but they look sure about this. 1/2 for him to leave and 13/8 to go. So if your sure, go lump some money on it. As for Vardy, I don't think it'll be about money, for 2 reasons, I think he's on enough and is doing well, plus I'm pretty sure we'd match the money.
GaelicFox Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 I must be the only person who is not fussed if vardy goes. Kante is the one we need to hide. No I'm with you , and when he hits a very dry patch ( he will ) most of the above will be caving his head in
J.Lisemore Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 If he leaves, it'll be because of his missus, no doubt about it. Hopefully he sees sense, we're better than Arsenal.
weller54 Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 There's more chance of us signing Fatima Whitbread than him going to Arsenal. Honestly. Aka GTF?
Tielemans63 Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 I must be the only person who is not fussed if vardy goes. Kante is the one we need to hide.Yes mate, I think you must be. Vardy is absolutely critical to the way we play, IF he does go he will not be replaced easily.Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Lcfcwigstonblue Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Vardy and his agent will already be fully aware of what Arsenal are going to offer him. So it is now down to him to put this to bed by making a statement.
Buggsteam Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 The whole team have been saying all season that they are like a band of brothers. If he decides to go for the big club status and more money. ( same as any other player we have ) then they have no respect for their team mates. Personally I don't think he will go. Think he loves it here to much and knows how much his loved. Being the first name on the team sheet every week. Only two concerns are his agent and his wife. Depends on what pressure they are putting on him for a move. I love Vardy with the way he plays and never give up attitude but we only want players here that are 100% comitted to the team. I hope he stays and knows football is not all about money.
the_tank Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Why blame his wife? Pretty pathetic/ misogynistic. Can't you just accept Vardy might decide to leave Leicester for a new challenge and/or financial gain.
hornyhollthefox123 Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Difficult to know what to say about this .. On the one hand the guy is 30 years old in 6 months. He's come late into the game and has progressed so fast since 26 it's crazy. He's worked so hard to be where he is and therefore you'd feel based on his careeer that he's always chasing the clock to be as good as he can be and play at the highest level. The fact is that from the start of next season we are that level for at least a year. Pot 1 of champions league, defending premier league champions etc. I appreciate the guy has ambitions to go as high as possible with possibly only two years at his peak left. But next season arsenal can offer nothing that we can't. Of course they're a bigger overall club but as said Vardy has two more seasons in him. He's in it for the short term now to play as much as he can at the highest level and he has that here! I'll be truly gutted if he goes and based on his loyalty and desire to stay here as he's mentioned countless time I will have to feel it's his twat of an agent who's just looking for a quick pay day. I work in sport and come across agents and clubs on a daily basis but if he truly has been going to clubs begging to take Vardy then he can fcuk right off. It's an embarrassing culture. Just crossing my fingers Vardy has his head screwed on and can see how far he's progressed with us and that he has a chance here to continue that.
Merging Cultures Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 I'm not fussed. Last season was unique. We'll never recreate that. And if he doesn't score loads his head might drop, as we've seen in the past. Sure he works hard for the team, but so will Musa or whoever else we bring in as the scouting team will have assured that they have a good team ethic. I hope we don't try to match an Arseanal offer. I think it would be wrong for a couple of reasons. We want players who are here because they want to be, not just because they get an additional £20k a week on top of their already very high wages. And we have been able to turn a profit, one of the best in the league before net sales of players, and I want that to continue. If we go the way of paying stupidly high wages, even with the new TV deal, we put that at risk. We are still a medium sized club and we shouldn't be dragged into the wage lunacy. Football is a business, we've shown you don't need to spend big to be succession, however it is going to be hard for us to keep costs down now because of our success. And as a business, Vardy should go where he'll get the best offer. I wouldn't begrudge him that. His club career will suffer, he won't suit their style. He'll be assured an England place though. I just don't want us being held over a barrel.
the_tank Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Could be a defining moment for this team.. If he stays MAYBE Mahrez and Kante stay If he goes..the others will go Hope he stays.
Claridge Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Why blame his wife? Pretty pathetic/ misogynistic. Can't you just accept Vardy might decide to leave Leicester for a new challenge and/or financial gain. she's trailor trash that's why, even his own family hate her.
the_tank Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 she's trailor trash that's why, even his own family hate her. And Vardy is a gentleman?
Lcfcwigstonblue Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Jesus, will people calm down. How do people know his wife is trailer trash? Do you actually know her? It's so embarrassing
