another newsletter yesterday evening which I have only just opened and surprise surprise they have changed their statement re tickets for Community Shield as follows

2015/16 Members who renew their City Fox Membership, Gold Membership or Silver Membership between Saturday 23 July and Sunday 24 July will be able to secure a seat for the Community Shield from SEE Tickets on Monday 25 July at 9am.
Any supporters renewing their Memberships from Monday onwards will be able to buy a Community Shield ticket from 9am the following day.

Pretty much what I suggested to them yesterday...Could be pedantic and go back onto them and point out  that all along  Friday July 22nd was cut off date for Gold and Silver renewals....Also still can't figure out why after saying there will be no limit to the number of City Fox members they won't sell me and i'm sure many others these yet

Still in the market for 3 tickets as I am visiting my daughter who works in London that weekend

So is there any chance of these tickets getting to general sale? I've got one for me and one for my oldest son but would love to get 2 more for the wife and little one.

So if you weren't a member last season do you stand any chance of getting a ticket? (I'm guessing no)

Well I suppose you could get a City Fox membership then try and buy a ticket the next day?

Just got mine and kids. At least we can see one game this summer whilst over in the uk.  Not expecting to get tickets for the first home game against Arsenal.   Then it's back to Japan for me and following the foxes over the net at all hours

still just happy to get these tickets even though it'll be hard to see the match

Has anyone booked cheap travel in the last few days? The cheap trains look to be sold out and Rugby is £44 return for 2. Thinking of driving to Stanmore and getting the tube to Wembley. Any other suggestions?

wow how much easier is it to buy tickets online when it's not lcfcdirect?

got tickets for me and my dad in level 5 but lower part of that level. tickets there were £25 each, there were still some £20 tickets left when I got on at 9 but decided to sit slightly closer to the pitch (not sure how much closer though since its level 5, might take my binoculars just in case).

in the old days of old Wembley, we used to drive to Watford and park there then get the tube in. not sure if that will still work now its a while ago isn't it. any other thoughts on how best to get there?

Anyone with a city membership (or preferably 2 memberships!) not going to this and have a membership number going spare? Would be much appreciated. Cheers.

good prices really, was totally expecting to have to pay up to £50 per ticket or something like that. think they were the closer tiers to the pitch at higher prices so we might not be able to see too well but the atmosphere should be top still which is half of the point isn't it!

as to availability after today, there were a few block options for the cheaper rate at 9 so seemed a lot of tickets in the gods still, not sure how long they will last but you might get lucky tomorrow. or ask on here to see if anyone has memberships but cant go? see if they will get them for you?

official parking at Wembley is £30 which sounds steep but actually if you've got a carload and can split the cost its probably not bad compared to parking outside of London and getting the tube....unless it includes congestion charge driving, does anyone know??

Don't think Wembley falls wiithin the congestion charge zone - you can normally get secure parking for £10 in the car parks of businesses around Wembley
