promised land Posted 30 June 2016 Posted 30 June 2016 Are they all faded though? Surely the ones in the kop, main stand that never get direct sunlight have hardly faded. You see this at places like the stadium of light as red seats stand out more when the sun gets at them as they go pink, but areas of that ground have redder seats than the ones in the sun. Old Trafford though, always looks good, I suppose they renew them on a regular basis as the Nike tick was replaced with adidas not long ago.

I've noticed this as well. Not sure what they can do really but it is a fairly tight space between each seat. It's alright when we're standing or celebrating though.

Either do this or replace them all are probably their options That would look odd as the most faded seats are basically sky blue, so the stadium will end up looking like the Ricoh. Better off just replacing them all.

I had a look on the CL ground regulations and although it didn't state specifically about advertising, it's probably something to do with that. The 'KING POWER' has been removed from the Kop and Family stands too, with it looking like it will be just the fox heads in those two stands.

I'd be very pleased if they are realigning the 'LEICESTER CITY' in the East Stand because the L is in the away stand at the moment, needs to be in the home end in my opinion. Interested to see what they do.

promised land Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 I went by today and had another look through those gates, the fox looks far too white to be the old seats cleaned up, plus to the left of the picture are cages full of old seats, looks to me like they've replaced them with new ones, the blue ones look new as well from where I was stood. Could be the sun though.

But did you mean to say they are in the process of implementing new blue seats too?

The kop blue seats looked new from there, could just have been the light on them, those cages did have some blue seats on but I think they were the blue padded ones from the main stand. Fox head to me looks new, could be wrong though.
