Grewks Posted 7 August 2016 Posted 7 August 2016 Negatives - Albrighton and King Positives - 90% of what happened after they left the pitch
jmono84 Posted 7 August 2016 Posted 7 August 2016 I'm happy with that tbh... Only think I wasn't sure about was Jeff at LB... Fuchs would have blocked that cross... Gray did OK forcing Valencia wide but he's always gonna get half a yard, Jeff was in no mans land unfortunatley
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 7 August 2016 Posted 7 August 2016 We didn't deserve to lose some negatives but overall a fitness exercise to get ready for the PREMIER LEAGUE TITLE DEFENCE up the Foxes
LAprice_ Posted 7 August 2016 Posted 7 August 2016 Quite enjoyed that game. Pretty even contest and that's quite remarkable when you consider the pretty uneven costs of the two teams. I've not seen anything today that makes me worry about Leicester finishing in a respectable position. Manchester United must be favourites for the league.
possiblygeorge Posted 7 August 2016 Posted 7 August 2016 All the goals were pretty s**t lets be honest
EnglishOxide Posted 7 August 2016 Posted 7 August 2016 Pre season or not, it's not nice to lose 3 games on the bounce?
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 7 August 2016 Posted 7 August 2016 Need another right back and an attacking central midfielder then we will be ok for a competitive campaign. Hernandez will be better in central defence. Some defensive slips we will need to cut out. Spirit still there.

Merging Cultures Posted 7 August 2016 Posted 7 August 2016 It was a close match. Won by a decent header. We need to improve the defence. We've made a few errors defending the last few games. Mendy went a bit absent, which was surprising. I like Musa and Vardy together. We played well though really. 2-1 isn't bad.

Chester Dontlie Posted 7 August 2016 Posted 7 August 2016 Tsk tsk, a bit disappointing, I thought we looked the better team as well. That offside goal was harsh. Good effort from the lads fighting till the end. Few of them were a bit off, especially Albrighton. On the other hand new signings look pretty impressive! Onwards and upwards
Brainy Posted 7 August 2016 Posted 7 August 2016 Why was there 4mins added on when there were 12 substitutions (at supposedly 30 seconds apiece?) Do the rules of football not apply in 'friendlies'?

chicagofox Posted 7 August 2016 Posted 7 August 2016 After today's performance I am excited about a Musa & Vardy partnership. With Gray and/or Kaputska on the left I think we will be a very exciting team to watch. Morgan had a poor game. I hope he can recapture the form of last season but that may be a struggle. I'd like to see one more defender signed before the end of August. Hernandez's long-throws could be a very useful weapon. I love Andy King but I hope Mendy is given the nod next week. Didn't see enough of him to make a judgement but I'd like to see him involved from the start sooner rather than later.
Legend_in_blue Posted 7 August 2016 Posted 7 August 2016 Mahrez's contract situation needs sorting out asap. It is clearly affecting his performance based on that display. Not too worried about the performance as a whole, and although a fairly meaningless game, it would have been nice to win it from a psychological point of view.

I said before the game, King and Albrighton will be the worse players on the pitch....they were. Albrighton gave the ball away 6 times in a row first half. The only wide man i'd play him ahead of is Kaputska....but that's only because he is an unknown quantity
Chester Dontlie Posted 7 August 2016 Posted 7 August 2016 I thought Mahrez had a decent first half, bit of a pity about the second
Devonfox1884 Posted 7 August 2016 Posted 7 August 2016 Riyad was shocking. That aside, a fairly positive game for us, not nice to lose, but we'll give this season a good go that's for sure.
Phube Posted 7 August 2016 Posted 7 August 2016 Disappointed in our fans... Already left the stadium before our players have finished getting their medals... we out stayed Spurs when we lost the League Cup!
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 7 August 2016 Posted 7 August 2016 Of course would of been nice to win, but not overly concerned at all as we were right up to the level of Man Utd today. It could've gone either way, both had chances. Musa looks a real signing. Lovely finish from Vardy for our goal. Hernandez looks composed. Fuchs impressive. Thought Mendy did well when he came on. Onto Hull City next week, and I'm actually quite optimistic about this one.
