This time it will probably be 3 of Vardy/Mahrez/Musa/Gray
foxy boxing Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 it's another weapon in our armoury so stop complaining because it could lead to more goals or at least confuse the opposition more.the more arrows we have in our quiver the better the hit rate will be?
Ric Flair Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 I think we'll get a lot of joy from it with Hernandez.

Discuss... Damn us finding another way to get the ball into the opposition's box. It's just not cricket either ...
Munshi Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 Well if Musa scored that openish header he had from the long throw on sunday, this thread wouldn't even exist.

CPW22 Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 A long throw from Hernandez beats Simpson throwing in field to either CM, receiving it straight back and then playing it inside to Huth, who turns and goes back to Kasper...
Countryfox Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 Yes it is a big weapon. Having seen them both toss it into the penalty box i'm wondering which is the biggest tosser at using the big weapon. They ought to have a toss off and see whose balls go the furthest ... then we would know who has the biggest weapon.
TJB-fox Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 As mentioned above, one of our best opportunities last weekend came from a Hernandez throw when Musa should've scored. I have no problem with it to be honest, we can't just have our whole game built on dirty ultimate team pace, especially in the champions league

Head Honcho Posted 11 December 2016 Posted 11 December 2016 I've been racking my brains to remember who we used a lot for long throws in the past. I seem to remember one of our League Cup wins and along the way it was quite a decent tool for us to have and paid a lot of dividends

filbertway Posted 11 December 2016 Posted 11 December 2016 Jon Ashton had a massive throw in, but didn't really play much from what I remember.

I remember him being labelled as having a big throw but did it ever actually come to fruition? No it was just long looping and easy to defend, not like these bullet throws
SystonFox Posted 11 December 2016 Posted 11 December 2016 Didn't neilson always give away foul throws too? A pro footballer should be banned for 3 games for a foul throw

Guest Electric Yetis Posted 11 December 2016 Posted 11 December 2016 Richard Smith and Tony James used to have good throws.
StanSP Posted 11 December 2016 Posted 11 December 2016 Antonio Barragan for Middlesbrough needs some lessons in throw-ins too.
