Saying "Look" before every answer

it is a way for them to get attention saying "look" meaning look at me see what i am doing,hear what i am saying they are trying to emphasize their point to the max

Do the math has got to be the most annoying pseudo intelligent americanism ever, apart from raising the pitch of your voice half way through a sentence to  imply a question, or wearing minuscule framed architect glasses. Look.

hate the way Americans say math instead of maths really ******* annoying they just butcher the English language

I'll tell you what, when someone starts a new thread to say something that could have been put in an existing thread it really grinds my gears.

I raised this as a moan in the What Grinds My Gears topic ages ago and I got ridiculed for raising such a pointless topic.

 

Glad to see that, by and large, the feeling is the same. :P

 

The irritating thing for me now, is, those who start an answer with "so..."

A typical modern Foreign trait.When in meetings over Europe, I was suprised  how many People starting their discussions

and replies with No..then actually start agreeing  with the points made...

I noticed its creeping in ,  in English company meetings..

Tbf you're the last person who can complain about foreign anglophone mannerisms.  I spent years on this board convinced that you were a German guy speaking English as a foreign tongue. lol
