Tielemans63 Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Woooh. I like to be as optimistic as possible but even I can't be positive about that line-up. I think there's a good chance we are going to get mullered here. Don't think it's a case of Mahrez and Slimani being dropped. There's some good chance they're knackered from WCQ's.
crazyleicester Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 I like the look of that team. Im not sure when the Algerian super duo got back but I would imagine they are a bit tired. Hernandez at RB is interesting but the team now looks like its full of pace with the likes of Musa and Schlupp in whilst Albrighton gives us some defensive discipline hence not playing Gray. Its the Leicester City need for speed today!!!!! Lets get em!!!!
Guest Bilo Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Extremely poor line up. I can see us shipping 4 again.
Bryn Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Gone for out and out pace and direct running, I think you'll find we stick a lot of men behind the ball today. Probably sensible to be fair.
lgfualol Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Hernandez long throws to Vardy and Musa ;_; Also, hope Vardy runs today.
weller54 Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Lambs to the slaughter!!! ..we need some Rachelpower today for sure!
Mark Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 I hope we're playing Schlupp left and Albrighton right because Schlupp has been a disaster every time he's been out on the right this season.
Koke Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 2 minutes ago, lgfualol said: Hernandez long throws to Vardy and Musa ;_; Also, hope Vardy runs today. Yeah and watch Albrighton make 50 hopeless crosses to Vardy and Musa. Cahill and Luiz won't have an easier afternoon.
CloudFox Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 442 doesn't really make sense with this line-up in my eyes. Gutted for Gray that he's not starting in place of Mahrez. Hopefully Schlupp will show what he's worth though. I almost think it would make more sense as a 433 with Albrighton as a CM... Edit: Actually, maybe Schlupp makes sense, as he has a bit of defensive ability about him, so might help steady our ship and help launch counters for Vardy and Musa.
Guest MattP Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Gray must wonder what he has to do to get a start.
lgfualol Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Just now, Koke said: Yeah and watch Albrighton make 50 hopeless crosses to Vardy and Musa. Cahill and Luiz won't have an easier afternoon. That's if we get a touch of the ball. Their 3 in midfield will shit on us.
FireFox Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Formation? Kasper Hernandez - Morgan - Huth - Fuchs Albrighton - Drinky - Amartey - Schlupp Vardy - Musa Maybe Schlupp on right, Albrighton on the left... Ranieri does like his inverted wingers. Maybe 4231, Musa/Schlupp taking turns in the middle and left. 1 minute ago, CloudFox said: I almost think it would make more sense as a 433 with Albrighton as a CM... Or this. Would love to go 343 though Kasper Hernandez - Morgan - Huth Albrighton - Drinky - Amartey - Fuchs Schlupp - Vardy - Musa
Monsell1976 Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Don't want to slate Claudio after what he's done here, but this team could back fire on him. Playing sclupp annoys and makes me laugh, agree gray is head and shoulders above him, vardy has been awful, would prefer a tired silmani than an out of form vardy, henandez could be terrorised at right back. Its ok thinking of the champions league, but premier league survival is our first priority, and we have been awful away. I will always support Claudio, but another hammering today, and I cannot defend him, after that selection.

teblin Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Strange selection, was wondering if it was a shift to 352 or 433 but doesnt look like it.
kingfox Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Fvck knows what he's doing here, Chelsea's game for the taking. The Dog will be getting an early walk if it's anything like the Liverpool or Man Utd game.
lgfualol Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 4 minutes ago, MattP said: Gray must wonder what he has to do to get a start. Yup. I'd be very pissed off if I was him.
Max Power Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Don't really understand the personell or the potential shape. See how it goes but I fear another comfortable defeat
truebluethroughandthrough Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 So. Who'd of thought. If the answer is Schlupp, what the bloody hell is the question??? Go on Geoff, prove us all wrong and bag a hatrick. Instead of proving you're mad as bat sh1t . 1-1
Mark Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 He's made changes, partly looking towards Tuesday with Slimani and Mahrez but isn't that what we wanted? if they are tired and saving themselves then we've brought in Schlupp and Musa who are hopefully raring to go, if we had more options available in midfield I'm sure he'd make changes there too given recent away performances.
FireFox Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 1-2 to us. Many of us are overestimating Chelsea.
Rasmic123 Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 What does okazaki have to do to get in the team?
UPinCarolina Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 The return of Tinkerman. If this works he is some sort of visionary, but it probably won't.
kyleolly Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Maybe playing Schlupp because he's more defensively minded than our other options on the left.
