I thought we were excellent tonight, not one player went missing . vardy running pressing and winning the ball. Mahrez was everywhere and back to his best. Simpson great. Albrighton pressing and winning the ball. Kasper making a world class save.

Commitment. energy and style

Lets get on and winnit

Not great let's be honest, apart from the first half hour of second half I thought we were second best.

Other than that first 20 minutes and the last 10, I thought we were much better than them. They didn't really cause us any problems for the best part of an hour.

Glad Kingy is getting the respect he deserves after that performance. Club legend!

Did you read the start of the match thread? I ain't easily shocked, but I was at some of the guff I was reading about King.

WTF... How do we keep turning in these performances mid week but absolute dog in the Prem?

Albrightons performance again was my only concern. Did the defence stuff ok like he does but passing was poor, offered little going forward.

King was superb... Never thought I'd say that.

But as a team that was last seasons side, so for f*** sake why do we disappear in the league. Confused but great win tonight.

The good thing with the second half was that there really wasn't any of that aimless hoofing which was evident in the first... we passed the ball well and pressed, that was more like we were last season. We weren't aimless and didn't give the ball away.

Solid.

We still look nervous but it seemed there was some tactical tweaking as Fuchs seemed to be more narrow than usual and find himself in as lightly more advanced position helping the midfield. For the first time in ages we actually looked like we had a few bodies in the middle which bodes well for the future. Its interesting it happened with Amartey out and King in but I have been critical at times of AK as he goes missing but today he was the best player on the pitch. If he wasnt getting in the oppos box to cross on the byline when Slimani slipped with the goal beckoning he was heading and clearing the ball in his own peno box. He played some lovely incisive passes and made more tackles and blocks today that he has in his last ten performances. Phenomenal performance and if I am honest I didnt think he had it in him.

Overall it was a poor first half but the goal gave us confidence in the 2nd half. We were much better after the break and should have had a second as Slimani looked onside for the disallowed goal. I was also happy to see Vardy running again and Mahrez showing some glimpses of magic. The defence looked more solid again some poor attackers but still they were back to their bullying best. As daft as this will sound I want them to keep defending like mad men and if they give a peno away and it does cost us then revert back to safer tactics!

A 6.5 out of ten team performance against a poor side but they hadnt lost in 21 games and we ended that record with little issue!!!

Fort we were good for for about 20 mins in that game its like when Mahrez comes alive the team does Albrighton shocking once again god nos wot his passing complete rate was

Drinky has got to be by far the best English passer of the ball. Should not just be in the England squad but starting. How Hodgson thought Wilshire was a better option i'll never know. And there is no way Rooney is a better midfielder than Drinkwater. Top class.

With all due respect a 1-0 win at home to Copenhagen, is in my opinion, our weakest home result of the season.

Some are getting over excited about the gloss of the Champions League. They started with a lad up top tonight who was utter doggo at Cardiff, and the lad alongside him, is rated even worse.

Yes we won. Winning whilst playing poorly is great. But we will be nearer to 20th than 17th playing like that this season.

We won, but were poor again.

Ranieri really needs to find an alternative system.

Any PL side would have beaten us to tonight.

Maybe I've got you all wrong but you strike me as one of those fans who'd be happier with us being 2-0 down away at Wigan on a Tuesday night.

They hadn't lost for 20 odd games... beaming with confidence we did well.

Just a realist.

Copenhagen are a side full of championship quality players.

Watched a non-league side on sunday that haven't lost for 2 seasons......Not sure their 'confidence' would bridge the gap with Barcelona.

Thought the Copenhagen left back looked a very tidy player, whipped in some quality balls

Him and Delaney are their better players.

The rest, in reality, are average.

Slim was onside, linesman's positioning was off.

Tbf the player playing him on was on the far side to the linesman, Slimani was probably blocking his view. Honest mistake, these things happen.
