How much longer does Claudio get a pass?

I'll always love Claudio for what he gave us last season but I'd like to see him resign now, while he can still do so with dignity.

This is just heart breaking - it reminds me of Muhammed Ali being humiliated by Larry Holmes.

Why does everyone keep talking about Sam Allardyce? What the f**k is he going to do? His Sunderland side were lucky not to get relegated in the great escape season ffs.

That was advocaat but the sentiment is right, allardyce is not now, nor will he ever be the answer to anything.

I'd take Sam Allardyce over boring Woy Hodgson any day of the week. I'm serious, if that tit gets to manage Leicester, I'm not going anymore. I couldn't have it.

Eh, they're all fat bastards anyway, useless too! The day we get Sam is the day we know this Club is going backwards and accepting mediocrity. As if we haven't done enough of that tonight

I can't see how he'll turn this around although I said exactly the same about he who must not be named before the great escape. Sure as hell we need something to kick us out of this malaise we are in though. With the 3 games we have up to Xmas I'd say on current form it's pretty certain we'll be closer to

bottom 3 than we are now if not in it.

That comment would have been funny even at the end of last season. Now it's hilarious.

Didn't big Sam come in and save Sunderland from getting relegated? Can't remember.

I'm actually not too sure, but you're right about Dick Advocaat, not a clue how i confused them two

Schmeichel is the real leader we are missing.

Ranieri is shocking me for his stubbornness sticking with 442. Italians are known for their tactics and adapting. Ranieri is just sticking to this losing formula and not adapting to our new players and loss of kante. At least Conte at Chelsea adapted and has reaped the rewards

Ranieri needs to get a grip

He had the excuse of the Champions League until two weeks ago. The last three performances have suggested problems run deeper.

A bad start on Saturday and the crowd could become very unhappy and when that starts to happen, owners listen.

I think he'll call it a day.

With our club in the last 16 of the CL i beg to differ. The pre-season tournament and CL are doing more harm than good

2nd attempt (1st got deleted)

If we ever EVER get our back doors smashed in like that again, CR can go immediately. Please read above for previous support

Unfortunately this has echoes of Greece and Chelsea all over it. Maybe Claudio is a don with a team with great forward momentum but not the best with a team in a slump?

The crazy thing is that when he was hired last year, the way we are performing now was the fear we all had, but of course we came out of nowhere to achieve our greatest glory.

Ranieri deserves more time, he's given us our biggest ever achievement. But he doesn't have much time! I think the owners will be extremely worried and have proved they will make tough decisions if need be.

I really hope he can sort it out, he's a legend to us all! I don't want to see it end in sadness...

I repeat the above... The team is also taking a great big turd over last season (someone else's choice words)

you my friend are very simple.

You sit sit there criticising players, questioning commitment and even say (indirectly) that Nigel Pearson had little or no part as manager in the achievements of the great escape. Just so I am clear, I do not want Pearson.back and have made that quite clear in another topic.

I will not sit on my high horse and pretend your opinion on this situation is not worthy of debate. But your post is so contradictory it's laughable that you're able to string a sentence together.

You mention lack of confidence. You mention Gueye (a guy clearly admired by Walsh) and you mention that some players are not getting the right opportunity in the team. Yet, you don't place any blame on the manager but call those who do and have lost patience as people who don't understand football? I don't think you understand what contradictory means if you can't conprehend how daft that sounds.

People quite obviously do understand football to be able to pinpoint the exacts points you have highlighted. They have simply taken a different view point. Get it right

Before you start calling me simple, read my post again and comprehend, not interpret how you want to read it to attempt to ridicule what I have stated, e.g.Pearson scenario

It is very clear. I havent said that Ranieri is blameless, the more I read of your post the more foolish you appear. In fact you are a plum.

I will question players commitment, desire, and motivation - by their performances on and off the field

You can laugh on your self-imaginary high horse all you like, bottom line - to sack the manager after 14 games I will state again , they dont understand football. Have an opinion yes, but understand football , NO

If people do not think beating Porto and winning our CL group was not good and took immense resource to this, then again they do not understand football.

Those fringe players were given an opportunity tonight, it left a lot to be desired, he has had to work within his resources

Maybe the manager and his staff know something that we dont , as if.......
