I hope it is close and not a battering for us, please go easy ...

For me to predict a heavy Man City win would not only be arrogant but also very optimistic given our poor finishing this season.
I'm a fan of Amartey but he'll need to be very good today against Gundogan and De Bruyne.
Vardy only needs one good ball over the top and he's scored. That's what worries me the most.

oh my for for for f888 sake 4-4-2 . We are on a suicide mission. This will be a rugby score. 0-5 if we are lucky. 2 down after 15

Tigers just lost 38-0 in the rugby. Don't think it will be that bad, but an easy Man City victory non the less.

Honestly mate....

You have NOTHING to worry about!

Not confident but slightly relieved by their line up. It's not their strongest, even after the suspensions. Just hope we miraculously go one up and revert to 451 before Stirling and Yaya join the game.

Even 12 men couldn't help us mate.

EDIT; just noticed the forward slash in between Vardy/Slimani.

The squad isn't playing well in their natural positons, why do you think they'll play better out of position?

Who are you referring too? Best I've seen of Albrighton is when he was a rwb, Fuchs i'm sure would do well in the schlupp role during great escape. Hernandez is supposed to be a cb is he not? Mahrez is bad this year because he's not given free reign. Amartey and mendy as more defensive mids with kingy making the plays. I'm not the manager but 442 isn't working right now, I guess a lot can be said for the players fight at the moment being the cause but the gaps we leave and the way crappy teams let alone good teams can just 1-2 it through our midfield.

Of course I hope you're right. I'll check in from time to time during the game though, and right now I'd take a 0-1 if offered it.

It's not 3-5-2 with Mahrez and Simpson in the middle is it?

Club Facebook page lays it out as 4-4-2. Feels like they're rubbing it in tbh

0 - 4 that line up is shocking, play the u21's tbh

About to crack open a Lagunitas High West-ified Imperial Coffee Stout (Aged in High West Rye barrels) - at 12.2%, it's the only thing strong enough to numb the near inevitable pain that seems sure to follow another 4-4-2 misadventure.

Decent analysis, Mahrez not putting the ball into space for Vardy. In fact I rarely see him pass the ball to him now

I think that too. Mahrez is always sniffing out Slimani, and I'd guess that it's pissing Vardy off.

I guess there's some reason to be optimistic about today's game:

  • Claudio Ranieri has won seven of his eight Premier League games against Manchester City, with the only draw coming at the King Power Stadium last season. (SkySports)

Something isn't right, it is the natural ball to play it isn't about only passing to your best mate like on a school playground

Agree! You can just imagine then Vardy having a whinge to a couple of his team mates about it, and then cliques form the bitching starts.
