His last game for Genk was on 28th December, so likely match-fit. Plus the game is largely irrelevant (sorry to say) as I don't think the FA Cup is currently as high on our list of importance as other competitions. If it's not here in time, then I can see him coming on in the second half vs Chelsea. Amartey has left for AFCON so short in the middle of the park and a good test for Ndidi. His work permit has arrived? He can play vs Everton.

The whole world smiles Posted 5 January 2017 Posted 5 January 2017 So basically he is kante but tall, good in the air and useful and defending and attacking set peices. I don't want to over do it but this is a huge day in the history of the club.

The whole world smiles Posted 5 January 2017 Posted 5 January 2017 I was a bit tongue in cheek fellas kante was/is one of the best players in the world. I still can't quite get my head around how he ended up here. The odds on him being similar are long even so Mega Excited for this one though.
lgfualol Posted 5 January 2017 Posted 5 January 2017 Already the best midfielder in the club's history I reckon

Great to see him smiling and excited to be here. Really exciting signing this one, hopefully it will allow Drinkwater to do what he does best and help the team performance!

st albans fox Posted 5 January 2017 Posted 5 January 2017 Can we not even think about song which isn't based on the manfred mann tune a very easy tune to sing loud to and surely we can come up with suitable lyrics I already feel sorry for him - expecting him to be kante is a tad unfair. He's only a kid. Can't be expected to read the game like NG at 20 years old

adejo92 Posted 5 January 2017 Posted 5 January 2017 Looks the piece, just hope his prostetic leg doesn't affect his pace.

Gav_LCFC14 Posted 5 January 2017 Posted 5 January 2017 Going off that , he seems like a really nice humble bloke , I already like him more that Kante.
