Kante is a ****. It is clear we were always a stepping stone for the little fecker and that's it, he and his twat agent wanted to come here get recognised and go to the marvellous bright lights of London with all the other arrogant rich ***** and get as much wonga as possible.

I thank him for the effort in his one season but he is now a nothing, he should never be mentioned in the same breath of true legends who give years to our club.

The way he left was the worst possible and the fact he still goes on now about how Chelsea are a massive club, until the Russian era they were pretty much a nothing club. The real historic big clubs are Man Utd, Liverpool and maybe Arsenal.

I hope Ndidi can take our midfield to a new level where we don't look scared of the football.

Chelsea are 1st and we are about 16th so who was right and who is wrong? (I'll give you a hint, Kante is right)

I don't think he came here as a stepping stone. He came here and showcased his outrageous ability for Leicester City, he gave his all every week. We couldn't keep hold of him while the big clubs wanted him.

He'll go on to win more Premier Leagues, he has a shout at Champions Leagues and European Championships and World Cups.

We can't compete with the that. We're still working our way up the food chain.

Why are we talking about Kante in a thread in which we welcome a player 10x better.

Cmon, his name is ****ing Wilfred, how could he not be brilliant? Wilfred ffs.

People who are accusing Kante of disloyalty are the same ones who have zero loyalty to Schlupp and want him out of the club. Football fans are like that.

Also, pretty sure Ndidi and Lloyd Dyer are the same person. Dyer went to Belgium and reinvented himself as a central midfielder.

Can't believe Ndidi just used Genk as a stepping stone. Just chasing more money. Disloyal **** I hope he dies etc etc

Nah welcome to Leicester Wilf. Hope he gets thrown straight in on Saturday. Looking forward to see him play.

Welcome Wilfred, you are either going to be the greatest payer in our history or so bad that by next week a load of fat, middle-aged men will be sat at home in their grubby little y-fronts calling you all sorts of names on this forum.

Hopefully he settles in well and becomes a good player for us but let's try and be patient if he isn't Busquets in his first game.

On a side note, I think our squad is shaping up nicely.  If we ignore the doom mongering mongwangers for a second and realise that this season is probably going to be one of transition and bedding in some younger players I genuinely think we should be in good shape next year.  I wonder what will happen with Amartey?  Obviously many factors will come in to play (form, ability, luck, success, etc) but if all goes to plan do we think the idea is for him to be a centre back?  I can't see us being able to play Mendy, Ndidi, Drinky and Amartey in midfield so something has to give?  If we assume Ndidi and Mendy find their form it will be difficult for Amartey but I feel like he has really grown into the role in recent weeks and it would seem a shame to just plonk him on the bench again.  He has all the attributes to be a great player I think just wondering about his best position.  If we move him to centre back this stint in midfield could have done him the world of good in terms of passing/playing the ball out from the back?

Anyway, we shall see and I hope the majority of us realise patience is needed and that we have a group of young players that, if managed correctly and mature as expected, could give us the core of a very good side for the next 6-8 years.

Anyway, good look Wilfred, I absolutely love you and have just got "didi" tatooed on my tiny, tiny penis.

99% of players will only see us as a stepping stone. Anyone thinking otherwise is deluded.

People being honest with themselves could see that it looked the right long term I've and it's proving to be so.

The abuse is pathetic, probably the same people who abuse players still here and not performing instantly.

I think Amartey will be our centre back. He's quick, very good in the air aswell. Watching his highlights on YouTube all of the good things he has done is from a centre back position.

Football clearly has a heirarchy, and it has for a very long time. Chelsea are above us in the order so they signed our player. The fact they we made £27m profit and got a league title out of it softens the blow for me but other people still seem very aggrieved.

I have absolutely no idea about this guy.. but he must of shown some serious enough quality for us not to sign someone experienced like Schneiderlin.

Schneiderlins reached his peak. This guy has the potential to be twice the player of Schneiderlin. Also, I think Schneiderlin was always going Everton anyway.

What did he say exactly? Genuinely curious.

Ranieri revealed City fought off the attentions of a host of other clubs, including a mystery 'big club'.

"Yes, we paid a lot because a lot of people wanted him," said Ranieri. "A big team wanted him, but he preferred to come with us to improve and then maybe in the future we can resell him, but now the most important thing is he is right for us.

"We gave him the contract because we believe in him. Of course when you buy some new players you are convinced this is the right player.

"Sometimes you're right, sometimes you're wrong and that is normal. In every country this happens."

Of course we are a stepping stone. Have been for as long as I can remember. We are a bigger stone than before so we can attract players that we couldn't do previously but it is the same ambition that brings a player to our club that also results in a player like Kante moving on. Far prefer to have a driven player for a season than one who coasts it after signing a new contract.

The whole 'stepping stone' thing is quite funny. As much as we'd want to believe otherwise, not many players grow up dreaming of playing for Leicester City.

Cant imagine that many want to play for Chelski either, that's purely a money move. If the Russian left, Chelsea would fade back to mid table. Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal are the big 3 English clubs, that's it.

I think people might be getting carried away with expectations. I still remember threads here discussing how many goals Kramaric would score on his debut (2 or 3 seemed popular IIRC). No doubt he'll take some time to bed in.

Kante is the only player I can recall looking good immediately. Couldn't help myself from sniggering the other night when he had a bad day at the office and got hooked for Fabregas. I think it's that he left at the absolute first opportunity and didn't hang around to see how far the project could go. Made the right decision though ( for himself).
