i Can't wait to see him in action. we must be patient with him and not put too much expectations on the young lad but hopefully he will hit the ground running and go straight into the first team.

Thanks for the literal answer :thumbup:

 

But really if we are going to throw him into the fire it's start him Saturday or against Chelsea. This seems like a much better opportunity for him to get settled.

If his work permit arrives in time, I am sure he will start on Saturday. His last game for Genk was on 28th December, so likely match-fit. Plus the game is largely irrelevant (sorry to say) as I don't think the FA Cup is currently as high on our list of importance as other competitions. If it's not here in time, then I can see him coming on in the second half vs Chelsea.

 

Amartey has left for AFCON so short in the middle of the park and a good test for Ndidi.
