What was all that about A deal was done , Sporting were playing hardball over agreeing a figure, however a deal was reluctantly struck, but we messed about on actually getting it tied up. Silva and his agent were pissed off. There was half heartedly approached again when Sporting were knocked out of Europe. TBH we could have got Michael Keane and Deeney if we would coughed up . Also, I though he had signed a new contract just months before? Then you have a more positive view of how footballers play the press than I do.... his statements in the press talked about a new challenge. Easy language to use and means he can go back on it.
