TrentFox Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 So disappointed in myself getting drawn into this thread, but if this is going to become the grievance thread, well, here goes. Only two names in my head. One obvious. One will mean I won't be brave enough to log back on for a while ! Howe and Dyche. Both doing outstandingly well and may have the ability to galvanise an undoubtedly capable group. If I'm honest, I'd go Dyche. We need grit, backbone and organisation. Fancy he'd add that more efficiently than anyone given we need to turn a corner and quickly.
Renart Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 Can we close this thread until a point where we are actually looking for a new manager, or move it to the 'transfers' section or some other nonsense, made-up area, where people can talk bullsh*t all they like.
MrsJohnMurphy Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 Remember our owners have appointed Sven and Ranieri If Claudio goes I'd stake my house on it being Hodgson

As much as he's a willy puller, he's also a very good manager and I think his no-nonsense style might actually be what we need right now. Good age too. Then again, the thought of hearing THAT voice every week on RL.....maybe not.
BenTheFox Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 If the situation was to occur I'd be looking at trying to tempt managers that are cerrently in work. I'd happily appoint a Tony Pulis or a Sean Dyche. How much stick am I going to get for this?
Dickov22 Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 Dyche wouldn't even come here. That's how far we've fallen

Tielemans63 Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 Which willy puller decided that willy puller would get changed to willy puller? What a willy puller.

You dont have to be a football expert to know that a 29 year old who has never managed in England and only managed his first club on the 11th of February 2016 isnt the right fit for us. You people who read shit on the net all day and think that you have the answers are clueless. This guy may go on to be the best manager in the world and he could have talent but he hasnt been a manager for more than 12 months. The lunacy on putting him on the radar of the English Prem champions is just plain stupid. Keep reading your articles and coming up with knee jerk options as Im sure you will be telling me next on how great a player is because you have seen him on youtube or watched a game one night of the SPL and think you have spotted the new Kenny Dalglish.

Or do you rekon as the best manager they've ever had he should have stayed. That was my point. Not comparing clubs thanks,
ChownLC Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 If Roy Hodgson became manager i would stop going to games.
ithuriel Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 Cant see the owners sacking Claudio at present. Benitez sounds good but I doubt he would leave Newcastle who look like they are coming back up, Rowett has been here as a player and seems a decent manager but would this be to soon for him.
yorkie1999 Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 Ian Holloway, just for the ability to mind fvck the owners

Seems to be the best qualified. No Renart no. Ranieri is too nice, we need Kovač, have Wasyl as his assistant, players wouldn't piss about being all lazy then.

EDIT: Fair enough if you weren't suggesting him What's he done? Presumably you pay no attention to lower levels then. One of the most highly rated young managers around. Did an amazing job at Birmingham considering the circumstances he was working under and did well at Burton was it. Probsbly not what we'd need now with loads of egos. But long term I'd rather look for someone with s long term plan in mind. I would be worried about those in charge is he wasn't as least mentioned.
Fox92 Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 Why have those Manager threads been deleted. Was only a bit of fun.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 Why did the Nige thread get scrubbed we need this conversation in our lives
