Watching last season's review again (to cheer myself up) we put in more dangerous balls in the Sunderland game, than all of this season.

We wouldn't get near this figure next year if we decided to sell him. yes he has scored a few important goals, but he looks a right mardy arse at times and sulks. Bit like mahrez and if u could get £40 mill for him now you'd snap the hand off because he has been gash this season.

Vardy relies on pace and work rate and he's lost a yard of pace and can't be bothered to work anymore. He's had his miracle season. Slimani is more likely to contribute goals in the future

Slimani has some history of getting in a strop at his clubs. He handed in a transfer request twice at Lisbon I remember reading although I cant find the article for his first request. This is the one when we bid for him last summer https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/1553658/ Also interesting in there that the same Chinese club who are after him now bid £12.5m last January. Maybe there is meat to this story as they must know a bit about him. I can see him going which would be fine as long as we get in a replacement and show a profit.I just dont think him and Vardy can play together if we persist on playing wingers.

Good game against West Ham maybe. The fact is Vardy is a far more rounded player who is crucial to us playing well. We could not have won the league with Slimani instead of Vardy. Absolutely no chance whatsoever. People need to accept that Slimani will score headers if we put crosses in but so would Ulloa. The rest of his game, like Ulloa's, is dogshit. I think he's a very poor signing.
