You may all think lazy journalism but there is no smoke without fire. Time for the players to revolt, ignore CR tactics today and do their own thing, go out there put in a shift, fight for every ball, close them down and start playing with the spirit we did last season. Of course that's all bollox, we will hoof it up the pitch all day, be all over the place, panic in defence and show fcuk all spirit or ideas. tactics or no tactics - the players are on the field.. they can play whatever/whichever way they want.. first and foremost - i think most of them have lost the plot & unmotivated. .. there is smoke & fire - & it's the players who are burning
matty98 Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 I think we should try 3 at the back again. That first half against Chelsea was the last time we actually looked some what capable of playing football. Schmeichel Fuchs Huth Morgan Chilwell N'didi Mendy Albrighton Gray Musa Mahrez

I'm sure there was a bit from RL on Tuesday where Ranieri essentially said he didn't know who this lad was, which set this forum off on the "rudkin is the devil incarnate" line again.
simon789us Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Come on boys season starts today forget what's happened before go out and show um why we won the league fight for every ball

So the schools of thought then, one is Ranieri did have involvement in this loan deal so has demonstrated real cognitive impairment, or Ranieri has never had involvement with recruitment or he has had but is no longer consulted either way that would be a concern.
reynard Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 I think our best chance would be for the players to link arms in a tight square and pass the ball from one to another for the entire 90 minutes. The only problem comes with their kick off when we would need to somehow get the ball off them. Otherwise I can only see an absolute hammering on the cards. We are about to take on a very good side and we have no decent defence, no creative midfielders and no strikers who seem to know where the goal is and a manager who is fast becoming a parody for the Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland.Just substitute Dilly Ding Dilly Dong for Twinkle Twinkle Little Bat and you're there.

Guest CityFan 06 Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 It may well be one of those games today where we win and put in a really good performance, that would be nice but it needs to be followed up afterwards which is what we haven't done so far this season. A lot of us, including me, thought that the Man City 4-2 home win would kick start us into better form.
Tringfox Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Well my glass is half full and I have a good feeling today is the day that our crappy season finally turns around so I'm having £50 on us to win @ 9-2. ???☝️☝️☝️☝️

I'm clutching to the Hope that now relegation is a REAL threat the boys show the spirit and resilience as well as Mahrez magic to show the World why we are Champs (Til May!!!)
The People's Hero Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Unless DD is going to give 100 percent and look interest he should have to go in the stands amongst our fans and stand amongst them. See if he's still so aloof then.
lgfualol Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 It is going to be this isnt it Schmeichel Simpson morgan huth fuchs Mahrez drinkwater ndidi albrighton Okazaki Vardy

tetly Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 If we don't show up today he has to go. I would love for him to turn it around but I think the problems are to deep now, I hope I am wrong and he does turn it around. He has given all us lcfc fans something we thought we would never see the premier league trophy.
Guest Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Does a forfeit still count as a 3-0 loss? We might want to consider that.

Hammo Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 To improve the entertainment value in the stands today, I suggest you try this version of I Spy and see how many of these 'dirty dozen' you can tick off: - Drinkwater boots kick off diagonally into touch, setting the tone for his and his team's day - Albrighton, unchallenged, sends cross into keeper's hands - Okazaki falls over and loses the ball - Vardy dives for a penalty instead of trying to score - Morgan stands rooted to spot as opposition players celebrate set piece goal - Okazaki falls over and loses the ball again - Gray gets crowd on its feet with scintillating run but fires shot high and wide with two teammates unmarked in area waiting for pass - Musa miscontrols ball into touch with no one near him - A long throw into the area from Fuchs is unthreateningmy headed clear - Mahrez cuts inside from right but is easily 'read' and dispossessed, setting up a dangerous opposition counterattack - Okazaki falls over and loses the ball yet again, Ranieri subs him and some deluded diehards in the crowd rise to applaud him off - United cruise to victory but Ranieri says his players 'fighted well against a team of champions' and were 'fantastic' and that the fans 'pushed us a lot' meet me here after the game to see how many you spotted!

At least 90% of those will happen though I'm not convinced we will attack enough for Vardy to even get into their half let alone the penalty area.
