So here we have a game, that could go along way to deciding the fate of two premier league teams. Particularly the loser.

Could cost a club in excess of 100 million quid.

And they put the worst referee in the country in charge.

Rather than being particularly bias he's just prone to terrible decisions. That can sometimes favour the inferior team so there's some hope!

He's a 'mustard' type of referee, you either like or loathe him.

Leaning more on the latter as haven't agreed many of his decisions watching games as a neutral and appears as arrogant as Mike Dean at times.

A bit surprised he hasn't been demoted for a few games like Dean.

Will be interesting to see how Vardy reacts during the game to him.

I'm rather hoping Vardy will be nowhere near the Stadium....

think this could be a blessing in disguise, players genuinely loathe moss over last year and could potentially get them fired up - cos lets be honest a potential relegation aint doing it so far

Not sure how you can read this news without going 'urgh'

Because it is scapegoating. If we go down it won't be becase John Moss refereed us at Swansea like some are implying.

He may not be the "best" ref but as far as I'm aware he doesn't have an agenda against us. He gave Vardy a yellow because he thought he dived, and some people shared that view.

Vardy's response was totally wrong and he was rightly banned for it, although the actual impact on us turned out to be minimal.

He also gave us a "soft" penalty in the same match.

The issue is not he might be biased against us, the issue is he is a terrible referee and shouldn't be officiating important Premier League games.

A poor decision could change a season, it might be for us, sending off their keeper and giving us a dodgy penalty.

We win, and stay up by a point, while Swansea go down.

He gave them a soft penalty and Vardys first yellow card wasn't even a foul.
