LCFC hub Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 On talksport (I know don't slate me) Bob Mills claims Leicester will win the FA Cup and Champions League. Ranieri wins when he wants. I think even the most optimistic Leicester fan will laugh at this. Amused me today anyway.
goose2010 Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 Who is Bob Mills? i'm sure there is probably a mental home somewhere looking for him.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 FA Cup - pretty unlikely although yes it is possible. Champions League - 0% chance
st albans fox Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 Bob has been saying this as a joke for a few months - his way of explaining how crap we are in the league he doesn't mean it .....
Happy Fox Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 Joking aside I don't think it's beyond us to do it. We're Leicester, the improbable becomes possible.

lee7 Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 The champions league - not a chance in hell! The FA cup- could get lucky depending on results in the next round and find ourselves draw lower league opposition once again if we can beat Millwall. It would make winning it slightly more probable.
Ted Maul Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 6 minutes ago, Wolfox said: 5000/1??? Around 50s, more chance of us winning it than Monaco, Napoli, Porto, Leverkusen and Benfica apparently As for the FA Cup- I think we have enough to get back into form if Ranieri's decisions are on the money. Get past Millwall, a decent home draw in the QF and who knows?

Wymsey Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 Actually made a £10 bet on to win the CL at 66/1 in November. Some of family/friends weren't that keen on this. If we win that and FA Cup, PL survival would probably be unlikely though.
foxinsocks Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 I would swap the CL for premier survival. But not the FA cup...
LCFC hub Posted 10 February 2017 Author Posted 10 February 2017 Right now I would be happy to just beat Sevilla over 2 legs.. Big ask!!
Ashley Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 I actually said to someone we would be relegated and win the Champions League. Typical Leicester style to something such as that

foxes21 Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 we need to rotate if we want to stay competitive in each competition. pl games: kasper amartey, wague, benalouane, chilwell albrighton, drinkwater, ndidi, gray mahrez slimani fa cup/cl games: kasper simpson, morgan, huth, fuchs mahrez, king, ndidi, musa okazaki vardy
Matt Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 By the way I saw this yesterday, totally forgot about it until I saw this thread. Champions League, FA Cup, Relegation @ 2000/1 with Coral. http://talksport.com/coral/coral-daily-download-would-you-take-20001-leicester-bet-170209227060 Think i'd want a hell of alot more than 2000/1 but then before last season i'd have wanted more 5000/1 for the league (Although in reality I wouldn't have sniffed at it last May come the payouts)
LesterRam Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 I should think you have the same chance of winning the Champions League as I do growing a third testicle, regarding the FA Cup why not, Millwall next
maddog Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 We have a small chance of getting past Sevilla but beyond that we would need red cards against and penalties against all our opponents from Quarter Final in both legs to have a chance of winning it. I'd liken us winning the champions league from here to Greece winning Euro 2004. As far as the Fa Cup goes Millwall to get to the quarters has to be our best chance of winning it in a long time. Wasn't our last Quarter Final Wycombe or have we had one more since? Its just a shame we're not comfortably mid table in the PL then we could have a right good go with the 1st team in both cups without worrying about the league.

Pretty sure we played Chelsea in the quarters when we were in the championship. I may be wrong.

Dilly ding dilly dong that rings a bell. 2012 the 5-2 loss at Chelsea. I was at the game but thought it was last 16 hehehe.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 Loved Bob Mills ever since the days of Games World. He's very funny and my favourite Fighting Talk contestant. Not sure on his football punditry though. Think he supports Leyton Orient.

HybridFox Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 CL is still a big push but this is our best chance at the FA cup in years! Not had this much belief since that dodgy penalty in the QF denied us at Blackburn all those years ago. Staying up and winning this would no doubt make this season a success. It's been my dream to go to Wembley and see Leicester in a cup final. (I was too young to remember the league cup) And given that we've never won it before, we'd be making history again! Come on Leicester
