The only players that go for that sort of money are attacking players. No way any club pays 135m for a defensive midfielder.

No - i’m Saying you wont get more than 50m for him but we don’t want to sell him. 

 

If the player has a good World Cup then we really aren’t paying him enough to refuse to sell him for an offer like that.

£50M would be an absolute steal for N'didi. He is worth twice that in todays inflated market.

I’d be surprised if he attracted bids over £45m. What we would accept is a completely different matter, no idea. Puel has played him at every opportunity so clearly rates him.

He is going nowhere. Long contract and we again do not need to sell. I think he knows that if he stays here he plays every week and that is only going to aid his development.

it will be interesting to see if he signs an improved deal before the WC. There can be no doubt tha the club would like him to - hopefully his advisors will realise there is no point delaying as we won’t sell.

The reason being he shouldn’t have got the first one. if you commit an offence worthy of yellow card then you run the risk of being sent off ‘unfairly’ later in the game. The authorities will argue ‘don’t commit the initial offence’.

No guarantee they do to be fair. Those column inches don't fill themselves ?. There's no way our owners would sell him for anything less than above his market value.

There is no reason for us to sell any player that we deem to be required. We dont need the money, so we will only sell if the player wants to leave.

 

Our aim is now to make them want to stay,

 

Success in europe, cup runs and top 10 finishes would be enough for most.

Arsenal and Liverpool could sign him, but ONLY if they start at £100 million plus. It’s really that simple. The guy is potentially off the scale. Trying to imagine a midfield of Kante and N’didi with some one creative. Probably have to put Matty James in there just to be fair.
