Mike Oxlong Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 When Vardy scored the record breaking goal didn't he run to the touchline shouting something like "me, me, me" ? If so that speaks volumes. Nothing about the team that got him there.

Leamington Fox Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 The thing I noticed was Schmeichel doing all the talking in the pre-kick off huddle. Couldn't see anything from Wes.
CosbehFox Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Does explain why every pass Wes makes forward is a virtual suicidal aerial ball to Vardy
The_frozenoak Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Funny, the other week, a mate showed me a clip from Derby away, Wes had scored and was walking away, Mahrez shouted something and Wes sneered (looked very like disgust) and turned and walked off. Short clip and could have been nothing but did seem rather telling. Maybe certain things in the summer by both Vards n Mahrez, haven't been forgiven!.
sm1 Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Didn't somebody break Vardy's TV in the title winning party. Now we know who it is. Conspiracy theory, Wes breaks Vardy's TV and refuses to pay him because he earns 100k. Half the team back Wes & the other half Vardy (Mahrez included as he also earns 100k).

Monsell1976 Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Also heard rumours that vardy is the problem, how true I don't know. What I can do is make observations about what I do see in the press and listening to his interviews. Forget he scored a lot last season, I think he's a chav, who got a lucky break at Leicester, and looking at his past criminal offence, the jap incident, if he wasn't a professional footballer, he is the type of character I would avoid. I can only imagine his ego has gone through the roof with all the media attention him and his wife are getting, and he's gone from being skint a couple of years ago, to made for life, what motivation has he got. I don't profess to know the bloke, I might be wrong, but that's how he comes across to me, and I could imagine him causing problems, where as Wes comes across quite mild mannered, again don't know him, but could be as I said about vardy. But if the observations of the op, and rumours are true, I would get rid of both for the sake of the rest of the team.

I think he was actually looking at the utd fans as well when he said it "who me? who me? who ****ing me!?" maybe he'd got a bit of stick off them about not being able to do it and beat RVN's record.
Fox 4 Life Posted 12 February 2017 Author Posted 12 February 2017 It is only what I saw, as others have said they could have already spoke in the tunnel but just seemed strange as vardy had just gone over to another player by the sideline and had to pass wes directly to get to the next player and they both just looked at the floor and ignored each other. My mate I was with was a swans fan (I was in the home end unfortunately) and he asked me if vardy had a problem with wes as he's the only person he hasn't embraced!
Ric Flair Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Yeah Vardy is making Fuchs, Morgan, Huth and Simpson make countless mistakes that lead to goals and he's making them hoof the ball all the while as they hate him. Drop him and watch the back four be immense again.

I know it's far fetched, but they are on fresh long term contracts. If we go down, so would their wages should they stay. I'm sure in the summer some one would be happy to pay a similar wage to them elsewhere in the premier Heard that all contracts signed in the summer had a 40% paycut if we get relegated. Smart move by the owners if true. There is no way the players are losing on purpose. Crap pre season, lost the edge fitness wise and think they are better than they are because they won the league. Ferdinand and Vidic lost it over a summer and the same happened with Morgan Huth and possibly Fuchs
EGBFitness Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Didn't notice the Vardy/Morgan not talking incident but disappointing if true - you don't expect the team to best mates but atleast be civil for the sakes of the team (in dressing room, training ground, pitch), concerning as there was a real togetherness last season and success was built on the 'band of brothers' Did see it was Kasper who looked to be leading the huddle
EGBFitness Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Hear no evil, see no evil comes to mind Players and Coaching staff seem to not be talking. CR must be blind by his team selections and believing we have just been unlucky.

It's the captains job to keep the team together not act the cvnt as well. The players really need to grow up and PDQ. If the players are in fighting please pack your bags and fvck off. He's a shite captain and a shite centre back. A lot of people get blinded by him blocking shots but that's because he's caught out or f****** up before. No inspiration at all

I dont think NP trusted and got on with him. But what can CR do? If he states in public some people at the club are acting like cvnts he will only make a bad situation worse. Maybe the reason he's not been sacked. The board may know the problem and think the only action is to get rid of the cvnts. May be just as bad with a knew man wait for the summer clear out it may shed some light. Funny no it's are saying much about these issues we can all see festering.
EastAnglianFox Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 How has it come to this!? Like seriously ok I've had a shandy or 2, but I'm literally speechless at what is happening, less than a sodding year ago it seemed these guys would walk through walls for each other!! Only this club...

I'm hoping he does, fans can see that something isn't right and hasn't been since the summer. He came out with his 'not mr nice guy' comments yesterday, we will have to see what that brings but for him to make the same selections and to only now look to be changing his approach I feel is concerning. You dont want CR coming out and personally criticising individuals etc but you want him to look as if he is dealing with the situation/concerned rather than seeming to ignore it... this is what has probably lost some fans trust in him as the signs are obvious. We've just had a transfer window and if some of these individuals are causing problems at the club then that was the perfect opportunity to get rid even if it meant counting our losses. There's been 2 examples this season that comes to mind with me 1) Mourinho and Martial - not in form and Mourinho publicly came out and questioned his attitude and professionalism, put him on the bench and said he could be loaned/sold unless he sees improvement - starting to look a different player again now and scored. 2) Payet - Probably causing a lot of trouble at the squad which is why West Ham were in such poor form, since he has gone and been with youth they are climbing the table again. Answers need to come out because either the club is too weak or CR is. For him to be making the match day selections and answering the press I would say it lands more on CR's shoulders although the club still need to take some of the responsibility.

foxy boxing Posted 16 February 2017 Posted 16 February 2017 so we've gone from the most unified and happy bunch of players to the most divided and miserable bunch in less than a year! success and greed clearly tears people apart!
yorkie1999 Posted 16 February 2017 Posted 16 February 2017 Maybe vardy's just not a team player. I remember one goal he scored and came running to the fans shouting "That's me" or something like that.

Yet out of the three big stars (Kante, Mahrez and Vardy) only Vardy, the players have gone on record as saying they pleaded with him to stay. Things may have changed now it's all going wrong and I'm sure Vardy as a character will not be everyone's cup of tea, but he was probably top boy at this club in terms of camaraderie and team spirit etc.
