Which Would You Prefer?

Recommended Posts

So, the question is, which of the following two options would you prefer?

1----To have been champions last season, and get relegated this season.

2----To have one nothing last season, and not get related this season.

I know that we would all prefer to have achieved what we did last season, and stay up this, but of the two above which would you choose?

For me option one is my choice.

Anyone who plumps for number two needs a lobotomy.

I don't get how anyone couldn't want last season. The thrill, the excitement, the tension, Chelsea v Tottenham and all that. You'd want that taken away?

Last season to happen of course. Historically we're a yo-yo club - relegation just happens and it will happen again to us, if not this season then likely a few years down the line. Last season will likely never happen again.

I'd take relegation to the conference. We won the title for the only time in our 132 year history. Nobody can ever say that it couldn't be done.

Could someone pass question two through google translate for me please.

Don't worry, we won the league last season and we're staying up this season.

That's the spirit...

Option 3. Win the league last season and at least show some fight in defending it this season!

Those two options are worlds apart, the annoying thing is it wasn't a set in stone deal, win the league get relegated next season, we're the makers of our own demise.

In all honesty though, option 1.

Number 1 and if you put that to any supporter of clubs like West Brom,,Stoke,Southampton etc they would all take it just for those memories,I've supported City since 1970 and if we get relegated it won't take away my feelings at beating Man City away, watching Vardy beat the record, the Everton game, going into Town that night seeing those scenes, the Parade at Viccy Park something I thought I would never experience,so all those who say that will be tainted can get f****d I've loved every minute of it.

haven't we had this before?

By the way, every Monday when the gooners and spuds start smiling at me when I walk into the office I take out my phone and open the video I took last May - those fireworks still make a hell of a noise and they soon go back to whatever it was they were doing.

Supported since 1969 lost the FA Cup and got relegated by both Manchester clubs

To be fair loved some of the good times, Bloomfield, Milne, Wallace, Little.

But my lasting memory and fondest memories come from MON era

Team of Scruffy Wannabe's who delivered Passion, Work Rate, Team Spirit, Team Work and led by the Son of God.

Happy Dayz, BUT I can never forget or believe what happened last season it will remain with me til the day I leave this Mortal Coil

In saying that, it's being spoilt by this seasons capitulation by the very same players ( bar one ) that gave me so much joy.

No Brainer so glad we are champions that can never be taken away from us !!

If we get relegated we can always get promoted back to the Premier League but will we ever win the championship again probably not in some of our lifetimes.

Leicester City is on that Trophy for life we are in the history books the whole world knows about us !!

If we go down we pick ourselves up rebuild and start the fight all over again for promotion we have superb owners who will probably throw large amounts of money to get us back in the Premier League !

But I still don't think we will get relegated it'll probably go down to the wire as those teams below us are worse than us,but we will be safe I'm sure and I hope we will !!

Nail on the head.

It was never supposed to happen to a club like ours, never will again.

I loved the MON era but last season pisses all over that. It was just relentless, joyful, exhilarating, crazy and mind blowing.

I've accepted that it was a one-off and am looking forward to some great aways in the championship next year.

Thanks for the memories, 2016...

Would you...

a) Prefer to keep your club in Leicester

b) Prefer we got bought out by a Russian Billionaire and move the club to Kazan, merging with local side FC Rubin Kazan and renaming them Kazanester

I know its a tough choice but Im plumping for "a".

I've always preferred brunettes to blondes.

Just a personal thing.

Nobody can take away the memories of last season. It's what we all probably dreamt of as a kid and we witnessed it. Obviously it would be shit to go down but our teams name is on that famous trophy. Last season will live with me until I'm dead, memory's will be shared with my grandchildren.
