Koke Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Is Grant the Avram Grant? How the **** does that fraud make a living at top level football? Jesus. I'd rather we stuck with Shakespeare than have Grant anywhere near our club.

separator Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Give Shakey the job, what's the worst that can happen. Pardew can fvck right off
surrifox Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Wagner has been talked about - didntmake the list though
Sly Posted 18 February 2017 Author Posted 18 February 2017 Can we just pay way over the odds and get Simeone?

Sly Posted 18 February 2017 Author Posted 18 February 2017 Just now, Sly said: Can we just pay way over the odds and get Simeone? Just to clarify, this is a joke, but just as realistic as half that list.
Wymsey Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Mancini would be ok, got taught English in Leicester and respected us in the past.
iancognito Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Megson is on that list. I can't take any list seriously that features his name. Ryan Giggs knows he's got a long way to climb when a man who hasn't had a meaningful job in the last 5 years is listed above him. That guy who always rings up 606 "David from Lestoh" mentioned Gary Neville earlier and was laughed off the line. He wants to put a man who barely won a game at Valencia in charge of a side that can't score a goal.

He'd actually try and get us playing some football, but he'd have the same problem as before in that it's difficult to play intricate passing football with players of limited technical ability.

Kaewbudda Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 That list... Be careful about what you wish for...
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 If it comes to it and Ranieri does go for whatever reason, I would give the job to Shakespeare until the remainder of the season. Then, assess at the end of the season/in summer. If Shakespeare has kept us up, make it a permanent role. I'd actually feel comfortable with him being our manager, in the few interviews I've heard of him he speaks sense and comes across well. I get the feeling players would play for Shakespeare, being as he has grown strong relations with a lot of this squad over a number of years. Schmeichel, Drinkwater, Vardy, Mahrez to name a few. If not Shakespeare, I would be looking at Rowett, Hiddink or Monk.
maddog Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 I'd rather stick with Claudio than sack him for anyone on that list... We had a better odds list of managers when we were in The Championship! Now we're Premier League champions the best we can hope for is Alan Pardew or Avram Grant!?! Wagner at Huddersfield is the only realistic option I'd get rid of Claudio for.
whetstonefox Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Perhaps we should go for joint coaches ... Carragher and Neville ?

Tuna Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 To be fair we were all laughing at the idea of Claudio back in 2015!
