MPH Posted 4 March 2017 Posted 4 March 2017 Normally I would say an early goal can work against you as we could be on the back foot all game. today however I say an early goal would help tremendously against a team that appears to be set up for a 4-5-1. It would bring them out a bit more or possibly force an early formation change...

Harsh, it's a tactical change, because of the opposition, if we were playing a top 6 team I'd have him in!

Captain... Posted 4 March 2017 Posted 4 March 2017 Okazaki in the team changes the whole dynamic and makes us play better as a team. Slimani has been good at times on an individual level, but Man City aside, he and Vardy haven't looked like they have a good understanding. Vards and Shinji do as does Shinji with the midfield where he spends much of his time helping them out. Slimani is a more effective forward than Shinji but we have been more effective as a team with Shinji in a 4411 formation.
