Charl91 Posted 7 March 2017 Posted 7 March 2017 I just remembered how how many opposing fans said that Leicester playing in the Champions League would be an "embarrassment", and that we would ruin the co-efficient of the country. Tottenham, Arsenal, take a bow.
Corky Posted 7 March 2017 Posted 7 March 2017 It was all a load of crap. If we'd gone out in the groups it would've been the same as Man United and Liverpool in the last couple of years, the same as Man City in their first two years. Reaching the 2nd round is all Arsenal have done since 2010 and Chelsea in the past two years.
HybridFox Posted 7 March 2017 Posted 7 March 2017 Would actually love it if somehow we get through Sevilla, to then get Man City in the next round and be the last English club standing. Here's hoping!
separator Posted 7 March 2017 Posted 7 March 2017 Surely Arsenal losing 5-1 in the first leg would go some way to winning the most embarrassing result in this seasons CL

If you've already been beaten 5 - 1 once, you don't let it happen again. Especially at home.

TheUltimateWinner Posted 7 March 2017 Posted 7 March 2017 What sweet justice it would be for us to scrape a 1-0 win next week...
Guest Mee-9 Posted 7 March 2017 Posted 7 March 2017 I enjoyed every minute of that second half. After how Arsenal fans were after that loss at the Emirates we suffered last season it was fantastic viewing tonight.
notnow john Posted 7 March 2017 Posted 7 March 2017 Hope we don't get the ref Arsenal had tonight, he was so bad he'd get a job in premier league.
Koke Posted 7 March 2017 Posted 7 March 2017 We will just get accused of getting an easy group (which we deserved for being league winners). And if we go through next week they will say we got an "easier" draw" (Sevilla are 3rd in Spain). I hope we go through and draw Benfica next round. The amount of people who will get rustled is hilarious.
tom27111 Posted 7 March 2017 Posted 7 March 2017 Was thinking about this yesterday. Spurs have been knocked out of two European competitions before we've even exited one
dominicmsb Posted 7 March 2017 Posted 7 March 2017 Can we not wait until after our game before making this thread

Yes we've played significantly weaker teams so far compared to Arsenal, Man City and Spurs... But we're no big fish. It may be a steamroll for them to have our fixtures, but not for us.

foxes_rule1978 Posted 7 March 2017 Posted 7 March 2017 Spurs gone, Arsenal humiliated twice... at least we fought and turned in a performance even under our poor circumstances we got out with a respectable 2-1 loss... now with renewed confidence you never know...
urban.spaceman Posted 8 March 2017 Posted 8 March 2017 Arsenal just conceded more in two games than we ever have in this competition and Spurs have been knocked out of two European Competitions before we've even exited one. What a time to be alive!

And whose merit would that be? Again, CR was castigated in this forum for prioritizing the CL over the PL. Now the same people, who blamed him for doing so, are dreaming of CL glories. How fickle can fans be?
Jattdogg Posted 8 March 2017 Posted 8 March 2017 Take a bow arsenshit. You have embarrassed england yet again. Crap club, crap fans and crap manager. Now fook off.
Royston. Posted 8 March 2017 Posted 8 March 2017 I believe we still have the record for biggest defeat for an English team.

Already qualified for next round as group winners and was a meaningless game so i would asterisk that loss. Having said that we didnt lose 5-1 at home nor did we lose 5-1 back to back as 'mighty arsenal' did.
Aus Fox Posted 8 March 2017 Posted 8 March 2017 When thinking about who will embarrass us in Europe I Ten two look at results.
