Tanya Posted 14 March 2017 Posted 14 March 2017 I want to cry. The Bein sport commentators look stunned and dismayed. I LOVE IT.

midland_red Posted 14 March 2017 Posted 14 March 2017 From the Daily Mail's man at the KP - Martin Samuel Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Borussia Dortmund, Leicester. As it stands, the quarter-finalists of the Champions League, 2016-17. Drink it in. Roll it around on your tongue. Laugh. Smile. Marvel. But do not be amazed, or shocked. This Leicester team are capable of quite incredible feats, when they want to be. And now they do. Previously, this season, it seemed they didn’t. Who knows why? Yet here was a Leicester team back on track, playing for a new manager in a way they no longer did for the old one, and taking their place among a European elite that would once have sneered at their very presence. And it was thoroughly, magnificently, deserved. Leicester were the better team, and in the periods when they were not, they had heroes within to come to their rescue. Kasper Schmeichel saved a penalty that could have taken the match to extra time, the back four defended with the bravery of last year.

fazzyfox Posted 14 March 2017 Posted 14 March 2017 So Arsenal and Spurs really have let down the country in terms of the coefficient whilst we've more than held our own. The unfortunate irony is that they'll benefit from having the four qualifying places.
tom27111 Posted 14 March 2017 Posted 14 March 2017 I came on earlier to look at the match thread and see the team, but nobody had started one, so I did. Shotgun doing the match thread for the quarter final
Spiritwalker Posted 14 March 2017 Posted 14 March 2017 Brilliant, our greatest night. I can't believe I chose not to get a ticket for this. Serves me right for my lack of faith.
Pentatonic Posted 14 March 2017 Posted 14 March 2017 Awesome result! There's a huge snowstorm here in my part of the US, and all the shoveling I had to do prevented me from watching the game. Fantastic news that brightened my day.
