Hollism Posted 24 June 2016 Share Posted 24 June 2016 I think we can toss that Labour vote prediction in the bin now. My friend at the Leicester count says it's far closer than expected, still remain but nowhere near as big as she thought. Any ideas when the Leicester result is announced? Similar time to Blaby and Oadby and Wigston?
Guest MattP Posted 24 June 2016 Share Posted 24 June 2016 So basically all the uneducated people and all the easily-scared-by-lies-about-johnny-foreigner old people are what's going to take this country back to the 3rd world. Called it. And here we go, good job we all had to make sure last night us on the leave side would take losing with a touch of class. I still think your going to just sneak this btw, but if you don't just calling everyone thickos for not agreeing with you and yet again (how many times do you have be told this and be shown it at an election!) dismiss anyone that has legitimate concerns about immigration isn't the way to go. Any ideas when the Leicester result is announced? Similar time to Blaby and Oadby and Wigston? Around 4am

Whether the anger towards it has been well directed in this referendum or not, elitism will always be despised by voters.

Cheese Posted 24 June 2016 Share Posted 24 June 2016 Indeed. It's become clear from the results we've seen tonight that the cultural divide in this referendum is wider than it appeared. Here's a decentish graph that sums up some of the differences. I am a university educated labour supporter and I voted out.

Very similar to my situation you're also clearly completely mental tbf One thing that this referendum has shown me is that there are too many people in this nation that can't accept other peoples view and I'm surprised to say that they are usually seem to be on the remain side. I got sick of logging onto FB long ago, mainly because of the slew of so-called "friends" constantly soapboxing their opinions along the lines of "If you don't click like on my status, or comment and agree with me, or blow smoke up my arse in some way....then you're the enemy...You're part of the problem...and by the way, I'm a LIBERAL so I CAN contradict myself and be everything I claim I rally against...."
