Chalobah joining us on loan so that is another potentially decent midfielder albeit young coming in (and did well on loan with us before - in the Championship I know)

In danger of having 4/5 British players in the team now...

(Maybe we will sell you Deeney!)

Nathaniel or the younger one? It's a shame that he hasn't wanted to leave permanently - if it's Nathaniel he was pretty good for you in 12/13 but hasn't really been able to settle anywhere.

Watford getting loftus cheek too apparently on loan? Looks like Watford might've learnt from their mistakes and are bringing in a few English players into their squad rather than a load of players from abroad that will take time to gel. Good business

Are we?

Thought it was just Chalobah..

Actually we have started the season very well - its been the second half of the season that has been the problem mainly due to the manager slacking off more than anyone else I think!

Huddersfield have just signed Mathias Jorgensen. Some decent business from them so far, early business too.

Huddersfield have been quietly signing quite a few players now, impressed at how orgainised they are with it lol

Seems every day they are breaking their transfer record - or at least getting some more "affordable" but interesting players from the European leagues. Jorgensen from FC Copenhagen is the next one in for £3.5mil http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40530190

Bottom five could be pretty tight this year - also how worried would you be as a Burnley fan now? Second season in the Prem now and you'd expect at least say - 30 million to be available for transfers right? Seems like they'll just be doing cheap and free again

EDIT - saw it was already linked above lol my bad!

Zanka only cost Huddersfield around £2m apparently.

Absolute steal of a signing if he's consistently anywhere near as good as his 2 performances in the Champions League against us. Disappointed we weren't interested at that price.

Conte must be even more annoyed/frustrated with the Lukaku situation now sorted away from him.

Quite surprised Lukaku has gone there, as still feel Man United are a few more seasons away from being genuine title contenders imo.

Love the thought of Sean Dyche sitting in his office eating a Ginsters and being offered say Sandro Ramirez for £5m - "nah don't want any of that foreign muck son, Jonny Walters is on t'way round, he'll do a job"

Because he'll be the main striker at Man United which a massive opportunity. They've retained that prestige despite a dodgy couple of years (in which they've still bagged 3 or 4 trophies). As much as I hate the term, it's still easily the "biggest" club in the country and one of the top 5 in the world, they've got Champions League football and look ready to spend some cash on areas they aren't so good in.

Lukaku knows he'll get played there, is mates with Pogba, will get Champions League football, and have the likes of Mata, Herrera and Mkhitaryan supplying him every week.

BIggest question mark there is the manager's siege mentality going beyond parody.

Find it quite amusing that this was the tweet that followed Man Utd’s Lukaku announcement.... says everything about football now really doesn’t it lol
