Lot of hate and joy

For us going out tonight all the plastic man united fans on the premier league banter group.

The BBC comments are laughable and irritating there was some words of support from a few but not many.

I want any English team to win in Europe I want them to progress and do well. But some are just jealous of our success last season and abit this season the (champions league run)

All I can say though I'm one of the proudest Leicester fan ever tonight I'm so proud of the team for the spirit they shown tonight!! I thought we was going to win midway second half onwards and upwards coyb

I'm purposefully avoiding phone-ins, other websites tonight. Other people want to dig, criticise, slag us off, whatever- let them. We know what our club is about, what we've been through, where we've come from and I'll judge it accordingly.

If Pete the Man United fan from Devon thinks we're crap then so be it. We gave everything we'd got tonight, our last three matches in Europe have seen us display discipline, work-rate, energy and spirit. We lost over two legs to a better side.

It's all about perspective and context. They haven't got either.

I personally want United to win the Europa.

If it's not us then I like to see other teams flying the British flag high.

As someone old enough to remember when there was only one representative for each country in the European Cup (2 if you won it the year before?), everyone used to get behind the sole English team in the competition. I can genuinely remember wanting Man Utd to win games... no really!

Now that there's 4, I find it really hard to care so much.

Or alternatively, don't. The more people listen, the more their sponsors pay them. Which is the last thing we want.

I don't want Man United to win the Europa League just because all the Leicester-born Man United fans are insufferable if they get even a hint of success so I can't really get upset if they don't wish us well and poke fun at our defeat.

Genuinely was sat there laughing at the stuff they were coming out with. Sporting media in this country is in a really, really sorry state. We actively promote idiocy over intelligence.

We did better tonight than any other team in the country would have done. I'm genuinely hopeful for us going forward.

They were a little more likeable back then too in a way.

Plus it it was hard to resist wanting to win against Bayern, and the way the Liverpool vs AC Milan final ended up panning out you couldn't help get on board.

I think one of the key things that made it possible to lend your support to English teams in European competition back then was the sides still represented more of a British style of playing.

Cundy, Goldstein and the rest of talksport talk shite to get reactions from people so they call in.

They take it in turns each night to be a cvnt, listen tomorrow and you'll probably agree with everything Cundy says and it will be Goldstein playing the cvnt.

This is spot on.

The sporting media in this country is all revolved around trying to wind fans up so they ring up & disagree with them.

It's a genuine shame we don't have a sensible sports show with good conversation & people who want to genuinely have a sensible debate about things.

Don't worry about it mate, they don't have to pretend they care any more after tonight.

TalkSport is such a wasted opportunity. A station dedicated totally to sport, a chance to give real insight, analysis as well as discussions completely ignored and replaced by talentless ex-players from 20 years ago, professional trolls and utter morons calling in.

They should be embarrassed to have sunk to a level schoolboys often turn their nose up at. Pathetic from a bunch of charlatans masquerading as "journalists".

No one has to want us to win to be fair. I'd love United to go out tomorrow because I hate them, don't care which country they're representing.

Seen lots of Spurs fans revelling in our exit. They're so salty still.

Listening to radio Leicester on the way home tonight and some weird American phoned in so i switched to the 5 live phone in. The first thing i heard.

"You cannot fault Leicester's effort tonight, but it's an effort that has been missing for much of this season".

Switched straight back to radio leicester.

This is the British media for you, any given chance to criticise you, they will. If a Spanish club, or a club from any other nation, did exactly what we did they'd be getting no criticism and this is why English clubs in Europe and England don't perform as they usually do due to the extra pressure. On the way to the game on the radio a couple of idiots were criticising the fact we have flags and clappers because apparently we can't create any atmosphere, shame they have to pick out little petty things like that to keep them in a job.

Honestly couldn't care less what others think. Best 2 years ever. Best 4 really. I wouldn't have wanted to support another club in the world. Unlike the previous 20 odd years I followed us!!!

If you read comment sections, or listen to "professional" opinions from pundits, you will come across lots of hate for us. Lots of bile, lots of snobbishness, lots of ill informed stupidity. It is natural - sad pathetic tossers can't stand the idea of success, or happiness, and the only joy that these cretins get in life is having a pop at the more successful people from their sad little troll hovels. The media caters to this brand of moron, thanks to the advertising clicks their childish bickering generates.

There are swathes of pundits whose only remit is to stir up "controversy", to get people phoning in or commenting, in reality they are largely a bunch of chancers bluffing their way through life, never doing any research and regurgitating a tired troll act or bland meaningless platitudes (see - Michael Owen). You only have to see the fear in the eyes of pundits and presenters when they get someone with half a brain on, like Martin O'Neill, to show how they can run rings around the usual suspects.

The thing to bear in mind, is that we have experienced the most wonderful scenes anyone could ever expect to see in football. Memories that last a lifetime, stories that will be remembered for generations. Outsiders envy that, they crow or complain that the fairy tale is over, but it never was their fairy tale in the first place. It is ours, it is only ours, and it will never be taken away from us. We have written our names in history, and it will still be there long after the world has forgotten that the Cundys, Danny Mills, the plastic message board English 'La Liga' 'fans' and the HURR DURR SNAKES OUT morons ever existed at all (if, truly it ever noticed that these non-entities existed in the first place).

It's not just radio either. Papers are just as bad. Stirring up bullshit online just to get more hits for their adverts. Embarrassing state of affairs.

Radio Leicester exists on trite rubbish where comment is concerned.

Let the haters say what they like. It will be music to Shakespeare's ears, assuming he gets the job permanently. Gives the team that extra motivation to re-focus for the league and prove to the doubters that we can become a top 6 side.

With some wise investment in the summer that's a realistic possibility and it might help us break the shackles of the 'little Leicester City' tag if we can achieve some sustained success (Cundy despises this term for some reason). The fact that we are the 6th most decorated team in England for the past 25 years or so would suggest we're already well on the way to doing this.

Fans of the so called bigger clubs would do well to remember we've single handedly kept the 4th CL spot for now. A bit of gratitude should be in order.
