More talent we've wasted. Look at Kramaric at Hoffenheim.

It's a loan for now, it wont be wasted unless we sell him. We also wont know if Kramaric was wasted talent unless he signs for a prem team and smashes in goals for fun.

Yeah look at him scoring against loads of shit teams in a league where Shinji scored exactly the same amount of goals in a season. People need to be careful when it comes to over hyping what players do in other leagues. It proves nothing as we've seen with other signings.

We'd lose 1.5 million with that deal, surely we could expect better for a full international player.

We only paid a £2.5m or thereabouts fee for Kapustka, the rest was in bonus clauses that haven't been met

I understood that we paid around 5.5M rising to 7M with add ons, I'm quite happy if I'm wrong on this.

I'm not positive on the exact figures but the £5.5m figure was quoted initially by the Daily Mail who aren't exactly the most reliable of sources. Leicester Mercury reported more recently that it was £2m with the addons being worth £5.5m

Just a thought but with Kapusta following Zieler and Hernandez out of the door, albeit on loan, that is half of our 2016 summer signings gone already.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mendy, Musa and Slimani follow for a clean sweep.

What a disaster the summer was.

In any other business heads would roll.  Millions wasted.   Hopefully lessons have been learned.......

So he was solely responsible for recruitment and scouting? Wow.

I think, to try and give a sincere response, the answer isn't that heads should roll - the answer is that they understand where mistakes were made, by whom, learn from them and not repeat them. It's cheaper and better than sacking all and sundry, in both the short and the long term.

And sent to sit on the naughty step?

I like the idea of a season long loan, although would have liked it to be to a Championship club, as he would benefit more from a year in a physical league and would give us a chance to see if he is up for english football.

Not keen on them having an option to buy as if he has an amazing season, we may want to hold on to him. Guess we only have to agree to that fixed price if we still want to sell though? Not sure how it works. Good luck to him though, obviously a talented player and may see him back here again hopefully.

Probably learnt from Kramaric. Loan him out, let him bump up his value and then sell him on. Chelsea make very good money buying and selling young players, if done correctly it's a gold mine.

They kind of shoot themselves in the foot by wanting to buy them back years later for 4 times the price though. :D

Our fans seem to believe they can blame him for everything

including world famine and the apocalypse probably aswell.
