TheUltimateWinner Posted 26 April 2017 Posted 26 April 2017 Marvin Johnson will be the centre of attention at Oxford this weekend with a host of Premier League clubs due to check on the talented left-footer. A number of scouts from top-flight clubs, including Leicester, Liverpool and Everton, are expected to watch the 26-year-old against Shrewsbury on Sunday. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4447400/Liverpool-Everton-scouts-watch-Marvin-Johnson.html
urban.spaceman Posted 26 April 2017 Posted 26 April 2017 He's retired. And it's the wrong sport anyway.
lgfualol Posted 26 April 2017 Posted 26 April 2017 Not sure why we're watching a 26 year old left-back in league 1, when we have Chilwell and Fuchs.
RowlattsFox Posted 26 April 2017 Posted 26 April 2017 Opening this thread to find out he's 26 years old and plays of Oxford is a bit disappointing.

m4DD0gg Posted 26 April 2017 Posted 26 April 2017 I remember another defender in his mid 20's signed from Oxford United who went on to be one of the best players in our clubs history.

Schlupp dosent need replacing ffs

Bunyip Posted 26 April 2017 Posted 26 April 2017 I'd be worried about the mental fitness of any 26 year old with tattoos all up his legs.

Yeah cos there's loads of them about willing to join us
oxford blue Posted 27 April 2017 Posted 27 April 2017 His best position is left midfield, but even so, I'd be surprised if Oxford get any offers from PL clubs. He's had some very good games, but doesn't offer the level of consistency necessary in PL. My guess is he will still be at Oxford next season, but if a large enough offer is made (he's only a year into a 3 year contract) it wold be by a Championship club.

Or consistently crap like this season. Or you have to be like Mahrez and be consistently inconsistent.

ramadaone Posted 28 April 2017 Posted 28 April 2017 We had a scout at an Oxford game a while ago so lazy journalists assumed we were watching Johnson They were wrong
