chicagofox Posted 16 May 2017 Posted 16 May 2017 I'm pleased for him. Anyone can miss a penalty. He gave his best at City and I don't see why anybody should wish him any ill-will. He wasn't the only one to miss a penalty that night.

That doesn't mean I'm not bitter the pen didn't count. You're saying he should get abuse. It comes across bitter.

Tonight he decided to take a decent penalty and deny me another trip to Wembley, the other half supports Fulham and I was quite looking forward to a visit to Wembley. In contrast, on that night in 2010 Fulham lost to Atletico in the Europa League Final. Ours was a happy house that night

My hatred of him is accentuated by having gone to charlton away twice following his infamous night in Cardiff and him scoring against us both times. You could tell he loved it as well.
