Im interested to know whether election campaigns serve any purpose, does anyone change their vote?

I put "same" but actually just realised neither TUSC or SWP have a candidate in my constituency this time (I should have offered!)

I wont vote for my local MP who's a pro Brexit, raging Blairite.

So I might actually vote Green (sorry, Matt.)

Labour will win anyway, it's not even close.

I'm actually voting Labour again! I hadn't really planned to, but Corbyns had a better campaign than i expected, theres no green candidate in my constituency and its an out and out fight between labour and the torys, so its a no brainer really!

Had Corbyn not had as good of a campaign as he had, i'd probably have spolit my ballot.

I voted Labour when I was at uni more to try and get rid of Clegg than anything (hoping he loses his seat this time) in 2015. Voting Labour again in York which they should easily win.

Voted Labour before and I voted Labour this time.

But it wasn't a case of I was always going to vote that way because I'd always voted that way. As recently as the start of the campaign I had no idea who I was going to vote for. I was edging toward Lib Dems but wasn't really sold, but I wasn't impressed by Corbyn. I'm still not his biggest fan, but he's impressed me enough to sway me back to voting for them this time. Also helped I've not been overly impressed by the Lib Dem campaign.

Kate Hoey?

If so, I read that the Lib Dems were making a big effort there so might be closer than you think.....though not close enough for your liking, I imagine.

I didn't know there was a lib dem campaign.

Didn't vote last time as time before voted liberal and I won't be doing that again as the rise in tuition fees made my blood boil. I am voting Corbyn (Sheehan) this time as from a professional perspective I could do with the NHS being richer and the local Tory Cnut and his HS2 dodging need to GTFO.

edit: ha, yall probably never thought you'd see the day I'd give Sheehan a vote amirightlads.

Voted Conservative last time (didn't want to vote for Tredinnick but was necessary). I still hope for a Conservative victory this time but I can't endorse May or her manifesto so spoilt ballot for me. MP here is Keir Starmer who I wouldn't have a problem voting for but it's impossible for me to vote Labour.

No, Liz Kendall. Who I might owe an apology to.

Apparently she was pro-remain. No idea how I got so convinced she wasn't.

I spoilt my ballot but like I twat I wrote "None of the above" at the top of the page lol

Since turning 18 I have voted Lib-Dem on the cusp of joining University back in 2010, that worked out fantastically.

In 2015 I voted Labour through lack of Green representation, that also worked out fantastically.

I will be voting Labour again today and suspect a similar pattern to the above.

That's what I thought: Kendall is an Arch-Blairite, but a Europhile like most Blairites, I assume.

Hoey & Gisela Stuart were the only Blairite Brexiteers I could think of, and Gisela has retired, I think.

I voted the same. I think. Safe Labour anyway in jon Ashworth.

Will anyone admit changing their mind due to an advert or newspaper article. If anything the smear campaign against Corbyn has strengthened my respect for him. Not sure if that counts but if articles were supposed to turn me off any candidate then they failed. I just find politics more sleazy than ever. From all sides. I just agree with more Labour views than Tory but I wish there was somehow there could be a cross party government with MPs voting with their constituents i n mind instead of toeing the party line. The best candidates for MP and cabinet would be chosen by the rest with those with experience in the roles doing each post.

But that is common sense and common sense does not apply to politics and politicians.

No need to apologise, you vote, that's good enough for me.

I think you might be slightly surprised though, I still expect Labour to hold Leicester West but it will be closer than it has been before, the Braunstone council election was only a 2% difference between Labour and the Tories last month.

Isn't most of Braunstone part of South Leics though?

It's not a smear campaign to point out that he is a lefty terrorist loving trident hating anti establishment twat though is it?

ive never voted before nor ever really cared but im gonna go vote for the jez man in a bit because he seems well sound and he talks to the real people

I won't vote labour until they stop the "tax the rich, give to the poor" regime that ruins the economy. Shame because despite his extreme views, I do quite like Corbyn.
