They'll want two for u23's and Hamer as number 3 for first team. I'd imagine Bramley or Iversen will go out on loan

brucey Posted 16 July 2017 Posted 16 July 2017 http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/eldin-jakupovic-leaves-hull-city-204290 The Mail understands Jakupovic departed the Tigers’ training camp on the Algarve this lunchtime for a return flight to England ahead of completing a deal worth upwards of £2m. It is expected he will then jet out to Hong Kong, where Leicester are currently preparing for the Premier League Asia Trophy.

Max Power Posted 16 July 2017 Posted 16 July 2017 Hamer seems to only exist for banter purposes. Nice work if you can get it.

Why should City be any different? I've always heard that back up keepers need to be a different breed. On the bench every week but very unlikely to play. Doubt he's on a (relatively) large amount either. With Jaku coming he will probably go back to 3rd choice
Jobyfox Posted 16 July 2017 Posted 16 July 2017 Oh, but Hamer is such a positive influence in the dressing room. Apparently Conrad Logan has taught him how to tell jokes, juggle and ride a unicycle whilst swallowing fire.
LCFC FOX Posted 16 July 2017 Posted 16 July 2017 Hamer isn't even that bad, I'd be happy to have him as back up. Porto game everyone played shite so can't blame hamer for that. if two keepers are signing does that mean we're getting rid of Iverson?

lgfualol Posted 16 July 2017 Posted 16 July 2017 If Hamer was good enough he wouldnt have been 3rd choice for the last 3 seasons.

He's just been unlucky everyone infront of him has always been better, except Schwarzer - it was a joke that he was deemed better than Hamer.

Both Pearson and Ranieri who saw them train day in day out disagree with you.

ALC Fox Posted 16 July 2017 Posted 16 July 2017 I feel for Hamer. He's had a rough deal while here. I bet he can't wait to see out his contract and get a move away. We do need a proper second choice keeper though. Jakupovic has done it with Hull and proved he could more than step up when called upon. This is definitely a good signing after letting Zieler go.
mozartfox Posted 16 July 2017 Posted 16 July 2017 If he was signed after just 8 pages on here, he's crap.
