Superpants82 Posted 16 June 2017 Posted 16 June 2017 According to BBC Humberside were in advanced talks with Hull for GK Eldin Jakupovic #lcfc
Babylon Posted 16 June 2017 Posted 16 June 2017 Hull keeper in advanced talks according to Hull local media. Zieler going I presume?
Matt Posted 16 June 2017 Posted 16 June 2017 Hmmm worrying because he's too good to be a 2nd choice, wouldn't think he'd settle for it, Kasper going?

ithuriel Posted 16 June 2017 Posted 16 June 2017 Maybe Shakey wants competition for every spot and no guaranteed first team places?
HoustonFox Posted 16 June 2017 Posted 16 June 2017 Not too good to be #2 if he's not as good as our #1. Good back up to Schmeichel. Not good enough to replace Schmeichel
st albans fox Posted 16 June 2017 Posted 16 June 2017 Zieler wasn't good enough as a number two will keep KS on his game and also probably means the club is planning for his departure next summer if we fail to secure European football there is also the risk that activity late in the window could mean kasper gets an offer we can't refuse (for various reasons) and having to rely on zieler for the first half of the season wouldn't be an option that fills the defence with confidence
Finnegan Posted 16 June 2017 Posted 16 June 2017 How long until we're linked to one of their forwards then!? Actually tbh did they buy or loan Grozicki? I would actually have him here.
Vacamion Posted 16 June 2017 Posted 16 June 2017 First home game of next season: Hulleicester Clap clap clap Hulleicester Clap clap clap
FoxinNotts Posted 16 June 2017 Posted 16 June 2017 Good keeper. Born to be a no. 2. Look at his appearances, definitely a no.2

FrankieADZ Posted 16 June 2017 Posted 16 June 2017 decent keeper tbh, will remind me of the MON days when it was either Keller/Flowers and Arphexad, Zieler is gone then i suspect if this one comes off too
filbertway Posted 16 June 2017 Posted 16 June 2017 Solid back up and pull some great faces during a game, can't go wrong! I'd guess Zieler is off if that's the case.

He#'s asked me to ask Vichai to take Allam !! ! I didn't realise but Jakupovic was THEIR number two....Got his breakthrough under Silva! yeah i thought that too, i thought it was either David Marshall or Alan Mcgregor as there number 1(im sure the latter went on loan to cardiff tho)
Realist Guy In The Room Posted 16 June 2017 Posted 16 June 2017 At 32 he's in his prime as a keeper. Bye Kasper.
Guest ttfn Posted 16 June 2017 Posted 16 June 2017 No way is he a Schmeichel replacement, got to be coming here as number 2. Schmeichel's one of the top 3 or 4 keepers in the league, this guy isn't in the top 20.
80footgiraffe Posted 16 June 2017 Posted 16 June 2017 This will have no relevance to Kasper, he is our No. 1 and we all know Zeiler has been poor and there has been interest in him. Simple as that. Straight replacement for Zeiler.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 16 June 2017 Posted 16 June 2017 And let's face it... if we were losing Kasper, I think we'd be pretty disappointed with this guy as a direct replacement.
