Yeah, they took him, developed him, and then had to pay £20m for the privilege to keep him. As said above, if we were to loan him, it'd have to have an option to buy in there imo, that way we don't get mugged off if he comes on leaps and bounds. All completely hypothetical of course, nothing may come of it as with many rumours this time of year!

Was that confirmed - I never actually read anything on it ????? shakey said he would be out for the rest of the season and unlikely to make the international squad because of the injury.
