let's be honest, riyad overpreformed in that 442, his efficiency was out of this world.(title winning season that is)

while i know that he can preforme to that level (and more), i don't see him ripping it up in here in this formation.

hopefully when he leaves, people can see that he wasn't the reason he couldn't preforme in that unforgiving 442 and i don't think any other flair player can do so.

And cue the stories linking Mahrez to Arsenhole and the Spuds in January, unless he starts performing can’t see them wanting him so is this another ploy by Wenger and Pinocchio to put Mahrez of his stride and unsettle him?

Just one thing tho Can he be unsettled and be put off his stride anymore than he is now ???

 

And if they actually do come in for him his value would have dropped along with his drop in form, Can’t see us getting more than £30m at least for him ??

We can't sell him. We lack so much creativity that Mahrez is one of our hopes (along with Gray). Both are not consistent but at least they try and do something.

Lol, everytime he didn't played this season, we looked awful forward. Every.single.fvcking.time. He's by far one the best of the bunch this season and people still want to get rid. Oh and who the fvck is going to replace him?

From balloon d'or in a team that enables his skills to bottom three in a team that does not - he may have shown more loyalty than most but surely he's now musing over whether he should have moved after the award. Unless the tactics change and we have the team that allows him to weave his magic I can see him hightailing it in January.

He was playing pretty deep for the most part. He had some **** ups, but also some moments of brilliance. I think he was okay overall. Albrihgton definitely had a better showing if we don't take into account the goal

I listened to mahrez's interview after wba game.

He sounded desperate to find his form... murmuring about needing to work hard in training. 

It's true that he's not mr confident... but he sounded lost.  He knows he's gone from footballer if the year with the world as his oyster... to some other dark place.  He made a fool of himself probably coz of his agent's greed and associated advice.

 

Now we all know how good he is.  The club needs him... but i expect the transfer shinannigans have made things awkward.

 

Somone needs to get hold of mahrez (and his agent) and tell him we believe in him.... that the transfer stuff has had a terrible impact. .. and the way forward is to draw a line.   He's contracted and earning big bucks... he should set aside all ambitions for 18 mths while he gets himself sorted.

The club need a mentor to work with him on his decision making and how to cope with the extra defenders (pass early and take them out if the game ) to relax and stop trying  so hard to make an impact.... he needs the psychologist imo

 

This is a solution where trust is established... and everyone works to get him back to his best.

 

We are managerless..... this job must fall to Top asap.

 

Moneywise...Mahrez is a signicant asset being allowed to delapidate... no business would allow this to happen
