It's quite simple, when most of your games are against the best teams then it's quite possible to warp the table. Just as it would if you played all the worst teams in a row, you'd expect more points.

Overly the next 6 weeks it will even itself out and we'll know exactly where we will stand as we'll have played a mix of teams.

Everyone said it was a difficult start to the season, for good reason. Almost everyone said it's quite possible we'd find ourselves in this position after these games.

So what we are saying is babs, we are all routing for him, but if there isn't a vast improvement in results over the next 6 games,  there can be no more excuses

The pressure would be on massively and rightly so at that point.

I'm not sure people are routing for him, been clear from day one those who disliked Pearson have decided they don't like his man.

I think it's ridiculous people are lumping pressure on now, so much focus on individual games like today and the Huddersfield game. It's what happens in the next month or so that gives a truer reflection, not just today.

Jury is well and truly still out and we should now find out what he's made of. I have no problem with him making misktakes, I have problems with him making the same ones... so we'll see.

Thats pretty much where i stand.

Too many people have written Shakey off after too few games against difficult opposition.

For me, its not really that I want Shakespeare to fail.

I/everybody just wants the club to be moving forward and succeed.

I'm more perplexed at how the club has been ran once the title was secured.

its been nothing short of a shambles from top to bottom.

We have lost our central midfield duo now in Drinky and Kante...... spent poorly on all areas and gone backwards.

Big money signings hitting the Injury table straight away or bench-warming.

The Silva debate.....its a joke, feel for the player.

Shakey came in and steadied the ship after Ranieri, and he did a decent enough job.

The players had the fire back they were missing.

I feel they got him the job and now gone back to being comfortable.

We need a clear out behind the scenes.

1. Academy needs a change anyone with new ideas get ousted as its putting the noses out of the "old guard"

2. Rudkin and Neville...its hard to say if they are stealing a living with little experience, or are just the Thais lapdogs who are taking the blame when things go wrong

3. Appleton and Stowell are league 1 coaches at best

4. Shakey needs a lower league job to learn.....I feel he will be a good manager in time.....but we cant really afford time as we all know what is at stake for the owners...££££

we need a top class manager to give these players the direction they need.

5. We have no direction on the pitch...what worked 2 seasons ago, everyones wised up to.....we no longer press and we cant put 5 passes together.

Yes after winning the league, we were never going to be able to attract the worlds elite.

But we had an opportunity the other 15 teams in have been trying to achieve since the Premier League started, and we have been piss poor behind the scenes and have made a right cock up of it.

In doing this our indentity and "band of brothers" is no longer, and were just back to being mid to lower premiership team and having wasted a shed load of cash in the process.

Don't know if you remember I was very much Pearson out, but I was very neutral on Shakespeare, said he wouldn't get us relegated, and wouldn't take us forward, wasn't over happy with his appointment, due to this lack of managerial experience.

As the weeks go by, me thinking he won't get us relegated changes, not because of who beat us, but his limited ability tactically.

Look at his team choice today, I hope to **** he wins, but 4-4-2, with king, and just dropping mahrez, there is a few including Albrighton that need dropping, as they have been poor, and I'm not getting on to king.

There's a certain air of delusions of grandeur running through these forums these days. Get behind Shakespeare ffs, it's not as if we've lost to Brighton, Huddersfield, Bournemouth and Swansea, we've played some bloody good teams who financially are out of our league.

Like being PL Champions less than two years ago.

He's starting to look like Tim Sherwood. Good initial bounce at Spurs, tailed off, exposed as tactically inept and out of his depth and finally sacked.

Albrighton has been one of our best players last 6/7 months, and started this season fairly well

Awful in the bad patch last season, and for large parts of the season, and same again this season.

I'm sorry if you think he is playing well, your watching a different game to me, or haven't been to many games this season lol

Has to go for me.

We are playing worse than we were under Ranieri and the players look even more disinterested and unmotiviated.

We haven't got time to 'give him a chance' he's had his chance and he's failed we've been awful since we went out of the Champions League.

If we get dragged into a relegation scrap again we won't escape it this time around.

He's not really learning anything is he?

I mean, he just doesn't get it. He doesn't understand tactics. He's not even got the wrong tactics, he's not implementing any at all.

This football is not acceptable. Sack now please.

I'd be interested to know why you think he's been so poor? Because considering what his role is in the team, he's been pretty decent so far in my opinion, apart from against Huddersfield.

And everyone was awful in the bad patch so that's a bad argument

His distribution is awful, he is one of the problems, when it comes to us retaining the ball, he's shows no composure, just hits and hopes, has his back to the opposition, and blindly hits it over his shoulder, over and over again, and gives the ball away so cheaply in open play, and I think he's played one decent cross in all season.

Yes he helps out defensively, but adds very little to the side for me, and we have better players available, people slag mahrez off, but if we intend to impose ourselves on other teams, Albrighton is not that player, get king out the middle, play mahrez and gray either side.

If we play with the right tactics Albrighton is one of our better players.

Picking on him is crazy. He's been far better than Mahrez over the last year and he's not even been at his best himself.

Either Shakespeare either has no ability or authority over this team, or he has no idea about tactics. Refusing to change from 4-4-2, players in basically their 'correct' positions but no partnerships, teamwork, or understanding between the players, and no discernible tactic or identity. Completely the wrong line-ups, weak all over the pitch, and none of our signings able to get in because he doesn't know how to change the formation or develop the team.

Not to forget, Shakespeare basically has a team that another manager won the league with, and he is barely eking out a semblance of a performance and is leading the club into a relegation fight.

Opinions mate, we all have them.

I'm not picking on him, stating the way I see it, I can see in the match thread he's doing it again, hitting the channels, nobody there, lost possession again.

Him and mahrez are not the only two that deserve criticism, I'm frustrated that we have a squad, and don't use it, the same players are nailed on starters every week, and fail to deliver over and over again

In his defence, and I call his faults, that team was relegation candidates the year before and after, just a freak season.

Where I do blame is, they haven't performed consistently for two season, but most are still first names on the team sheet.

We have spent millions, whilst we are playing this bad, what's to lose by giving them game time, yes they will be rusty for a few games, but can't be worse than the crap we are seeing
